A hotel in a quiet location, though in easy walking distance to attractions such as Imperial Citadel. The room was clean and tidy. The staff were helpful. I stayed as part of an Intrepid tour. Not much breakfast, as they don't restock their food, so go early.

In Vietnam, a hotel in a quiet location is not easy to find. This is one of them and as it is in a colonial building it is also one of the charming ones. Very close to the forbidden city it offers several rooms, a pool, a garden and a restaurant and parking area. Rooms are clean and the staff... More

The service here was good, although at times required some prompting. Our room were clean, bathroom was a good size. Bed was super comfortable. Everything worked properly. Washing service was great too. I had my clothes washed and returned to me within a day. The breakfast was one of the nicest breakfasts we had in Vietnam. They make awesome omelettes... More

We stay for three nights in this hotel. It is simple, old, silence and plane. The problem was that I was Robredo Tere. In the morning I prepared my suit case and left it ready in the room locked, I went to buy some water and stuff and after 45 minutes came back to the hotel and left for another... More

We stayed here as part of our Intrepid tour and whilst it was great location (next to the citadel), the hotel itself was quite plain/dead. The room was furnished in a very old and dated Asia styled blankets, curtains and decor. The bathroom smelt a bit like a faint tinge of stale fish. The bathroom curtains were old and mouldy... More

Very good location, you can walk to the citadel in 5 mins and also easy to visit other famous spots. Hotel is old style house so not in perfect condition but acceptable. Clean room and nice swimming pool. Beware of mosquitos. Ask for pool view or garden view to get quiet nights. Staffs are friendly and helpful.

Tranh noi hotel, Hue. We stayed at the Tranh Noi hotel in Hue as we wanted to be away from the noise of the south of the river. We paid 550,000 dong per night. Our room was ensuite and had TV, mini bar and air conditioning. The bed was large and comfortable. Staff were friendly and spoke reasonable English. The... More

Stayed here with my Intrepid tour group for 2 nights. Hotel is lovely and so are the staff. As it is an open style hotel it is prone to mosquito and really bad. Sprayed our room so much but they still came. Room was spacious, but has no safe and an old style TV, free unsecured wifi. Breakfast the usual... More

Decent, clean rooms. Wifi works. Breakfast buffet is a bit short of options - pancakes cold but you can have eggs freshly cooked to suit your taste. Had a pretty good evening meal. Service attentive without being intrusive.

We stayed here for 2 nights, with our family of 4 (teenage kids). This was the lowest star rated hotel in our Vietnam trip and I guess the only reason why our travel agent gave us this hotel was the location in the citadel, making it easy as a basis for getting to know Hue and the many things to...
