This was our first time to Hue, and we wanted a relaxing oasis to escape to after touring the busy city life. Boy are we glad we booked here! It is GORGEOUS and immaculate in very way. Outstanding staff, one of the neatest pools, spa is amazing too. I would highly highly Highly recommend this place, esp for the reasonable... More

Stayed 8 years ago and always wanted to come back. We used booking.com and got a great deal including breakfast. Beautiful gardens surrounding amazing pool. Restaurant meals quite expensive but very nice dining room. Breakfast excellent especially if you can get a balcony table for 2. Great for couples and also family groups. Hue city only a short taxi ride... More

Beyond expectations, this tranquil retreat outside of Hue is a great base to explore the city. beautiful accommodation, friendly staff and excellent food if you dine here (Vietnamese food was fabulous!) breakfast is fantastic and we tried the spa treatments, which were just wonderful. Would have loved to have stayed another night to use the pool and chill out. Would... More

We booked on-line with them and got an amazing deal - two rooms for three nights for 600 NZD. Unbeatable! The staff were incredibly friendly, in line with most of the places at in Vietnam, but they had an air of confidence about themselves that meant you could joke with them, and enjoy a freer rapport. The rooms were pretty... More

They try to make it feel like a "spa" type of place, but the food, rooms and surroundings don't live up to the promise. Rooms are spacious but lack light and the food is definitively not health-orientated. However, the service at this hotel is spectacular and the staff are super knowledgable and willing to help with excursions and outings. This... More

We spent 4 nights at the Pilgrimage Village, and if we had time, we could have stayed for another while. The ''village'' is in a forested area, with a large nice swimming pool in the center area. All buildings are built in a rustic style, but very mode inside. And spacious, clean and comfortable rooms. The breakfast was great, lots... More

My wife and I spent two nights at the Pilgrimage Village in Hue last week. The room was comfortable and quiet. The staff were amazingly friendly, warm and welcoming, and the morning breakfast delicious with so much to choose from. One of the nicest features was the fact that the manager Miwa (not sure if that's correct) was so wonderful... More

This was the 'luxury stay' of our trip to Vietnam and we were expecting a lot. Did it live up to it? Not quite. Everything at reception was very professionally run, from the calling of taxis to the organisation of a tour. The rooms were very nice but not spectacularly so. For example who expects a shower over the bath... More

After the hustle and bustle of the cities and markets, this was a welcome retreat on the edge of Hue. It's like a separate little village with the best rooms being the Honeymoon suites overlooking the main pool. These have large decks and it feels cool with all the vegetation. ALL the many staff were so friendly and helpful. The... More

Pilgrimage Village is one of the best resorts I've stayed in. We upgraded to a bungalow room, which was spacious and well appointed. The resort has an 'eco' feel to and you get the sense you are surrounded by lush tropical jungle. There are two swimming pools and even though the resort was, apparently, full, neither pool was overwhelmed with... More
