As part of the tour group, my husband and myself were part of last month, we were fortunate enough to stay at this lovely resort. It was like an oasis in a place that I didn't find very exciting even though Hue is the old capital of Vietnam. I would go there again just to stay at the Pilgrimage Village.... More

Wow! Yes is it pricey but you definitely get what you pay for! Sweet little apartments in a beautiful jungle like habitat. Lovely pool (although not cold enough for a hot day!). Food it the restaurant is divine and true Vietnamese! Staff are lovely and very friendly, with fantastic English, beds are perfectly comfortable and good air con in rooms!... More

Beautiful setting, lovely room, great service meant this was so peaceful and relaxing. After the brilliant bustle of Hanoi this place took us to the other extreme of unwinding and feeling miles away from anywhere.

This is a lovely hotel, it is a retreat away from business of Hue. The rooms are very nice, the pool is lovely, they also provide free yoga every morning which is great. It is a big hotel though, so don't book if you are expecting a 'boutique' experience. The food is the main thing that let's it down, it... More

We spent three nights at Pilgrimage village and really enjoyed our stay. The room was nice and spacious. Breakfast was really great - such a wide variety on offer. The pool area is beautiful and we spent some time swimming and sunbathing. We booked a tour through the hotel to the DMZ zone which was really great. The tour was... More

I spent one night at the Pilgrimage and wish I could have stayed more. The location is a bit away from the citadel, but there is a free shuttle. You need to plan ahead if you want to use the shuttle because they only provide 4 times a day each way. And you need to make reservation 30 minutes prior.... More

The resort is a cosy and beautiful hideout full of tropical treees and plants creating the typical Asian holiday feeling. Highlights are definitely the huge and long pool and the spa area. The rooms are clean and quiet. The breakfast area could get some improvement so that it matches with the romantic resort.

Pilgrimage Village is a great place to stay in Hue. We had a large, spacious and quiet "Villa," a free upgrade from the room we had reserved. The plunge pool brought refreshing relief from the hot and humid air. The food in the restaurant was surprisingly excellent (we ate lunch there twice) and as serious foodies our standards are high.... More

We have just spent 21 days in Vietnam. There is a lot to see and do and traffic and stall holders to haggle with but the Pilgrimage Village is a haven of peace and tranquility. It is set in lush, well-maintained tropical gardens. Just 20 minutes on the shuttle bus or a cheap cab ride from the centre of Hue,... More

This hotel is exactly the way it should be: large cosy and stylish rooms, very large beds, private balconies, quiet (villas are completely secluded buildings) but with easy access to all facilities.these facilities are another highlight: 2 pools- one of them very long (ideal for a morning workout swim), pool/movie room, spa (we didn't try), free wifi + a computer room/library. The... More
