Very well presented hotel with exceptional staff. Room was very stylish and the balcony was a good spot. Only problems were the traffic noise from Le Loi & the curtains that let through a lot of light. Breakfast was good and the serving area in the courtyard takes beating. If only I could have slept better.

We have just completed a week at the Saigon Morin. If I could give 7 Stars, I would. In my travels in 23 nations, I have not encountered the exceptional staff, attention to detail, elegance of facility and grounds, quality of food and service, and refining touches that we have encountered here. They even remembered my birthday (from my passport)... More

Wife, kids & I stayed 4 nights. Got upgraded into a huge Colonial Suite. Very comfortable, very nice feel of yesteryear..... Old pics of the hotel in the corridors, beautiful setting for breakfast in a lovely courtyard. Plenty of variety at breakfast. The staff were very welcoming & helpful with any questions etc..... A big shout out to 'Song' the... More

But didn't. First the positives. Great location, super nice front desk. Beautiful building. And that's about it. With some work, this place would be great. The bed gave me back pains, the spa was a disaster. The young woman who did the massage had long fingernails, talked incessantly, and after a critical look at my naked front, informed me that... Stayed here with our tour group. Nicest hotel we stayed at in Vietnam. Like a 5 star hotel in my opinion. 2 large beds in our room. Beautiful décor and lovely pool which was needed in the heat. Breakfast was also very nice. Shame we only stayed 1 night.

Old colonial hotel beautifully maintained, it reminded me of the Continental hotel in Ho Chi Minh but this one it was even better. I spent four days in this charming hotel and I enjoyed every minute. The room was very spacious with a balcony facing the river and it contained all the expected extras. Reception staff was very professional and... More

The Saigon Morin is one of those grand old hotels from yesteryear. Nice but old fashioned rooms. Fantastic breakfast and evening meal with entertainment in beautiful courtyard garden. Nice Pool area. Sadly it's on a very busy road so the view over the river to the old town isn't what it could be.
