4 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW via mobile

French colonial charm, space and style, friendly staff, and the excitement of being upgraded to a VIP suite of rooms. Lots of dark wood, creating a colonial atmosphere, yet plenty of light. Beautiful bathroom, sitting room. Steak and chips - could have been hotter. Wine list reasonably priced, unless you want a Sauvignon Blanc - which someone did. Too busy... More

I spent two evenings at the Saigon Morin in January 2015, and found it to be one of the nicest hotels I have EVER stayed at. The rooms are enormous, and beautiful with wide planked hardwood floors, and high ceilings. Despite being in town, the room was quiet, and the bed comfortable. The morning breakfast buffet also far exceeded my... More

Lovely colonial style hotel in superb location in Hue. Staff always very helpful and friendly. The food is very good, scrumptious breakfast in beautiful peaceful courtyard. Photos on the walls around the hotel give a good reminder of the days gone by. Makes for a very interesting stay. I highly recommend this hotel.

The style of the hotel is impressive. The bedrooms are vast and comfortable. The staff are pleasant. Unfortunately the shower flooded and we had to remove a load of dark hair from the drain. Yuk! There was no bedside lamp near me so we tried to move one from beside the spare bed. The electrics didn't allow for that. When... More

I did a lot of tripadvisor research before I booked this hotel, and it turned out exactly the way I thought it would. It is well located and has a nice view of the Perfume River. The room is large but there was a musty smell throughout the whole. I guess there's not much they can do - it is... More

Beautiful hotel, old colonial style comfort and service. Well located for restaurants though we had a delicious meal in house. The room was superbly comfortable, light and airy. Beautiful gardens where breakfast is usually served... it rained all the time we were there.

GO HERE! This is amazing, silk curtains, up market fittings, wow, the colonials really knew how to look after themselves, breakfast was included, an amazing choice of foods. Just across the river from the markets and the citadel. Don't get scammed by the bicycle/rickshaw guys they are painful.

We arrived in Hue from Hanoi in this wonderful Hotel. We were upgrated and had a room overlooking the perfum river. Huge, comfortable room. A good definition of what luxury can be! Complementary seasonal fruits to welcome us too. Best for us is the open garden restaurant where you can have a quiet drink or have a bite to eat.... More

We arrived early for check-in but we were upgraded to a most comfortable room overlooking the Perfume River, immediately, giving us a chance to recuperate before our touring. . Service and care was absolutely wonderful and a great breakfast for the day's touring ahead. It is close to the Citadel and other historical sites.
