Stayed in November, the staff were very friendly and nice rooms although could do with a makeover. What totally ruined the stay was the noise, Vietnamese people generally rise early, but could not believe when the maintenance guys started hammering at 6.30 in the morning the day before our return trip to England. This was only stopped after two calls... more

We stayed in a deluxe river view room. There are marble floors in the hall and bath, the rest is hardwood and it is creaky...no sneaking quietly to the bath at night. The room was bright, the lighting good with one window wall with a view of the Perfume River. The plumbing is very modern and cool. The king size... more

The room we had here was huge, so we liked that part of our stay. It looked out on the street and had a small balcony. I spent some time there marveling at the chaotic melange of motor scooters, cars, bikes, and pedestrians making their way through the busy intersection below, somehow managing to get where they were going without... more

Cannot recommend this hotel enough. Brilliant staff, closer to 5 star than 4, everything had a touch of class and elegance. Beautful location on the river overlooking the bridge with only a short work to the markets and Citidel. And the rooms are huge! more

Located right by the Truong Tien Bridge its is convenient for everything from the local restaurants to the post office and the old citadel is a short walk across the bridge itself. Our room was a corner suite, rooms 107/207/307 all overlook the junction of the bridge which is entertaining. The rooms were clean, large and well equipped. The staff... more

We stayed here for 3 nights and we thought the hotel was gorgeous - old style french - only gripe with this is that this was also reflected in the menu in the hotel where there were only european options so aside from breakfast we ate out everyday. The outdoor restaurant and bar is in a lovely setting - very... more

A genuine 4-5 star hotel. We found the food and liquor to be expensive by Vietnamese standards and compared to places outside the hotel. Nice pool, not big but comfortable size., water was a bit warm but it was a very hot day when we were there (think 40celcius and very high humidity). Very good breakfast. Room was clean and... more

This hotel is in a landmark building in a good location just opposite a bridge over the river. Yet the exterior promise is not kept once you enter the premises - yes, all is kind of old and historic, but not preserved with any taste or attention to detail. The rooms are huge, but lack charm and the real history... more

We stayed at this hotel during our trip to Vietnam, and this was by far the least flashy of the hotels that we stayed at. That being said, the hotel rooms were huge! There was a great pool and fantastic dinner and breakfast buffet. The hotel is located near some really good cheap restaurants and countless shops to find those... more
