My wife and I spent 2 nights in this hotel as part of a 3-week honeymoon in Vietnam. Whilst from the front entry it looks to be a very impressive hotel, our impressions began to change upon entering. Firstly, the hotel is currently undergoing a major renovation (much needed) which means that it is half-covered with scaffolding, and also means... more

In massive need of a facelift. Great location & reasonable views of the river - but thats where the positives end. General hotel decor is dated & tired. The room whilst quite spacious is poorly designed (needed binonculars to see the TV from the bed) - the bed was concrete hard & the chairs absurdly uncomfortable. To be fair it... more

...it's a rip off! The bathroom is dirty and old. Computers don't work. Service is poor. The whole place needs to be rearranged. more

Dated decor and inefficient staff made this a stay to forget. Rooms were basic to say the least and our 2 nite stay could not end quickly enough. Breakfast was in itself an experience to remember, when the promised buffet breakfast turned out to be omelette or fried eggs...and despite requesting a menu we were told...No,you can have Omelette or Fried... more

Had a lovely two nights stay there on a North-South journey. Place is stunning, nice river views (on the west-facing rooms) and lovely pool and garden. Large comfortable rooms and a nice spa/massage (loved by our female half). However some shortcomings/inbalances prevent them from 4-star, 3-star is more appropiate now; while we were there already some repainting of hallways was... more

We had a great room with balcony overlooking the Perfume River and also an excellent swimming pool. It is definitely worth paying the extra few VND to get a room with a river view. The room was large and spacious. The hotel is located in a great area for shopping, restaurants, and general touristing. Pluses: Swimming Pool, Massage, OK: Restaurant.... more

My husband stayed at the Century Riverside for 9 weeks this summer while teaching for Hue University. I joined him for a week at the end. The large air-conditioned room had a balcony that overlooked the Perfume River and the hotel's lovely swimming pool. He stayed there because of the pricing, reliable free internet, AC, and pool. There was even... more

Our room was very shabby and was obviously not in the 50% that had been recently renovated. The paint was scuffed and the bathroom was so tiny that it was impossible for more than one person to stand in it at a time. Also, there was a warning on the bathroom mirror to allow 20 minutes between showers for the... more

Hotel has some typhoon damage and looked hurriedly re-painted. Great views. Breakfasts excellent. Very cheap compared to Morin and adequate for our stay. Lots of tour parties though. Grat bars and restuarnats just right outside. Try Cha Tai more

We stayed at this hotel for one night this past May. The hotel is huge, had a good breakfast, and nice clean rooms. However, because of the size of the hotel, it had a very eerie and desolate feeling - not welcoming at all. Also, everything seemed kind of run down - from the lobby, to the front entrance, to... more
