We stayed at Mimosa for 3 nights and had a GREAT experience. The room was clean, the A/C and cable TV worked great, and the owner, Mr. Long couldn't have been a better host. He not only was extremely helpful, kind, and humorous, but he let us cut a deal with him and stay for $7.60 a night (when booking... More

This is deffo the cheapest place in hue. For $8(U.S.) we got a double room with A/C, Fan, TV and privat bathroom. It's in the heart of the bars and restaurants (tourist area) and can be a little noisy at times but all in all a very good place for budget travellers. There is a little balcony on the first... Southeast Asia is cheap, but sometime you get what you pap for. This place was the best value I ever had. Aircon, private room for like 6 dollars. Have never come close to beating that. They had computers for use too. the owner is a very friendly man and helped me out with many things including getting my bike fixed... More

Greatlocation for meeting other travellers but not on the main street with all the commotion. Centrally located around the palace and other things to see around Hue. Great western restaurants as well as amazing local eateries near by. The owner of the guesthouse is a very kind gentlemen and can assist you with many things. He got my visa extended... More

Highly recommend this place. The Owner Long is very friendly, honest, accommodating and helpful. He will make sure everyone has an enjoyable stay. Rooms are big and spotless, nothing to complaint about. Another great plus for the location, well situated in a quite alley, and still accessible to all cheap foods, shopping easily. Hue is a lovely place, and Mimosa... More

We decided to stay here due to the good location. However the room was not as advertised. The air con did not work at all meaning the room was like a sauna due to there being no window . When we asked staff about this twice , they pressed a few buttons and just shrugged. There was also no hot... More

The rooms are cheap, clean and have everything, what you need and the owner Long is very friendly and helps if you have a problem. Also the balcony is a nice plus in comparsion with the surrounding guesthouses and hotels.

Working in Vietnam, I've stayed here at least 5 times. Mr. Long, the owner, is great, accommodating and incredibly helpful with everything. There's a lovely balcony on the second floor. Of course the rooms aren't 4 star, but they're super clean with private bathrooms and air con (except for the tiny, cheapest rooms). At $7-$8 a night for a large... More

I just came back from spending 2 nights and 3 days at Mimosa. It's hidden in a not-so-shady alley, and very basic. The place itself is really small and not many rooms. I travelled solo so I got a $5 room that was like a shoebox, w/ my own bathroom. I viewed the other rooms for 2+ people and they... More

I stayed at Mimosa Hotel a few Days ago. The owner is superfriendly and helpful, without the usual pushing-you-into-buy-something. Mr. Long (he is indeed very tall) is a great father to his children. The rooms are basic, but very clean, the computers and wifi up-to-date and the showers hot. The balkony on the first floor is great for hanging out.
