Stayed here for 2 nights. Staff were great. Friendly and helpful with helping us plan our next steps of trip aswell as problems with visa. Security guard was also very welcoming and helpful with luggage and bicycle lock and parking. Towels changed daily and quick laundry service. Only cons were bicycles were very old and not in good order and... More

We came here on the basis of its solid reviews here, and we were, well, a little disappointed. If you come here, spend the extra on the deluxe room. We got a standard and while it was nice enough, it lacked a window to the outside and any means of efficient ventilation. There was a small window in the bathroom... More

I have stayed in many places in south east Asia but this was one of the best. We wanted a 3 bed room but due to what I can only assume to be a clerical error we received a 4 person room for less than the cost of a 3 person! The rooms were large and had TV with movies,... More

This hotel was sort of a mix between a hostel and a hotel. What made it fantastic was the staff. They were the most hospitable staff I've seen so far at a budget accommodation. They let me print for free and always brought us tea when in the common area. The rooms were clean, there was hot water, and we... More

The hotel could do with a refurbishment including getting rid of drain smells and humidity in the rooms. My room was clean and comfortable but smelt musty and the windows were covered in condensation every morning. Great location a couple of hundred metres from the bridge over to the Citadel etc. Breakfast is very tightly controlled, one choice and one... More

Quite large rooms with a big bed, good bathroom and the hotel was clean and well looked after. Good choices for breakfast with coffee. While waiting for our bus the security staff, who also seem to work at waiters, gave us complimentary vietnamese tea. One security guard in particular is always offers a genuine smile and is very helpful. Its... More

We stayed in recommendation of the landlady of our homestay at Hanoi the day before. Qouc, the owner, is great. Friendly and welcoming, professional. Free pickup on Moto off the night train. Breakfast was great, and included. My only advice is that the tour he arranged for us, City Tour, of tombs, citadel and pagoda, was a little underwhelming. This... More

In overall an excellent budget hotel. The rooms were very clean. The staff has always been very helpfull. The location is also goog and close to the city nightlife. You can rent there motorbikes and visit the city including the tombs. I recommend this hotel.

We stayed at tran ly for two nights, they met our expectation considering the price we paid, until the moment we checked out. We rented 2 scooters accross the road from the hostel, agreed to return at 11am on the leaving day and we parked them in front of the hostel as they have a guy to look out for... More

Tran Ly was very comfortable and clean with nice and helpful staff for a very reasonable price. The staff helped us rent a motorbike to tour Hue, which was tons of fun, and served us tea when we were sitting in the lobby. Overall, a great hotel- no complaints!
