We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights went off to the Mekong and stayed for a further night. They stored our luggage safely and without charge. Our first stay we stayed in a queen deluxe room. Upon our return we were upgraded free to the suite room. What a nice and spacious room this is and consists of 2... more

We stayed at the May Hotel twice. We were a family group of 9 so had 5 rooms. All very clean and comfortable also did some laundry and found the service excellent. The swimming pool on the roof top is opened and is beautiful we used it regularly to cool down & relax after a day of sight seeing. The... more

We returned to the May after being in country for 25 days and traveling all the way to Sa Pa and back. We liked the May the first time and since we were flying out of the airport there it was a choice we wanted to make. I wrote about the May the first time, but now want to re-form... more

Location not bad, We had Deluxe rooms which was ok but the shower constantly leaked onto the bathroom floor. You had a good choice of breakfast which catered for all nationalities (but was a little cold at times). Was promised over and over again that the pool would be finished but when we arrived we were told that it was... more

The May Hotel has a fantastic location within five minutes walk of the centre of town. The rooms are spotlessly clean and quiet. In this respect, it is a very good hotel. Our initial impression was poor on arrival. We had chosen this hotel largely because of the suite rooms which can sleep four people - one of the few... more

We selected this hotel because it came with good reviews on this site. Boy, were we surprised. We booked a triple room for $90 USD (during high season), and since so many people loved this hotel, we were willing to pay more than what is normally required for a 3 star in Ho Chi Minh City. The room was okay,... more

Love the location, within walking distance to the city but tucked away on a quiet street so you avoid all the traffic and noise. Rooms and bathrooms, clean. this is also because they are decorated simply, with no carpet, so it is easy to maintain. I like that. Rooms are of reasonable size, good range of T.V channels. We stayed... more

Stayed in the May for the first two nights of our stay in Vietnam and would highly reccommend it. Being slightly out of the main drag the hotel is quiet considering the noise of the city. A short walk through the side streets are you are right in the town centre of Ho Chi Minh, so really you get the... more

We stayed at the May for 5 days and enjoyed our stay in the May Deluxe room. The rooms were very clean, fairly new with a balcony. The bed had clean sheets everyday and was quite firm. The bathroom was spotless and spacious. Came with towels, bathrobes, slippers, soap (1 bar only, you will need to ask for 2 if... more
