As a frequent visitor, I used to stay at the higher end hotels. However, a friend asked me why i was spending so much money, essentially for a bed, and recommended I try the May Hotel. So, this was my fourth time staying at hotel this year. Staff are pleasant, rooms are clean and location is good. The beakfast is... More

Will start off by saying most of the staff are all extremely friendly, attentive and helpful. However, a few things let the hotel down in our opinion. Every time we have gone to use the pool there has been swimming lessons in it. I understand this is a regular occurrence in the area, however, when you are paying for a... More

This was our second stay. bath plug did not work, hanging for a bath and absolutely no problems to change room for us. Staff very polite and respectful. visited the Saigon skydeck and ben thanh markets, all with 15 minutes walk. Buffet breakfast has a good variety and is inclusive. We met friends at the restaurant last night, menu and style... More

A well located Hotel not far from restaurants and sights. Very helpful staff. Nice buffet breakfast. Good sized air conditioned rooms. Nice enough bathroom. Swimming pool on the roof was nice although they do let locals use it for swimming lessons which can be annoying. Rooms on higher floors have reasonable view. Matresses on the firmer side but okay. Would... More

The May Hotel We stayed in this Hotel for three nights on our last few days in Vietnam. By this point in our trip we had done all the culture, all the sites etc of the North all the way to the Mekong Delta. On arrival to Ho Chi Minh itself the vibe was slightly more western but with a... More

I have stayed at this property several times over the years. Check In: proficient, staff has good English skills Rooms: Clean and basic. Not much of a TV channel selection but who want to be watching TV when in the heart of HCM. Restaurant: Minus points from me as it is not really to my liking. Grab a bowl of... More

Enjoying a beer or two on the roof top bar/swimming pool. What a fabulous place. Buy one get one free this month. This place is perfection and spotlessly clean and was not expensive. Even the food is really reasonable priced at this hotel. Situated in the business district of ho chi min city close to markets, eateries and entertainment. Staff... More

For business trip, whereby only need a clean and safe place to sleep. This hotel serves its function. Breakfast is acceptable. Location is walking distances to places of interest. Even if you choose to travel by taxi, it will not be far to the nearby places of interest in city centre.

We found the May Hotel tidy, functional and handy to the city. The included buffet breakfast was good and we appreciated the refreshing roof top but semi enclosed pool. The pool was hardly used, we were usually the only ones there. The gym was open aired and therefore too hot to utilise, with a lot of the equipment not appearing... More

Although the hotel is located in district 1. The amount you pay for compared to what you get from the hotel is bad. The breakfast tasted very stale and the rooms are very old. The elevator is broken and has eroded walls and the rooms are typical of a 2* to 3* hotel. (The superior twin costs $100 and the... More
