We had booked here because of the nice reviews about the friendly staff, mostly. Well, the service we had there was no more than OK, i could never say friendly... When we got there we were rushed into our rooms, we had to ask after for a Map of the city and the wifi code. We wanted to book some... More

Budget stay hotel near to Bui Vien Street which appears to be the main 'strip' with bars restaurants etc. The hotel itself is down a small ally way which initially was a bit off putting but this is common in Vietnam. Has several landings and no lift but they have installed a rudimentary hoist which can haul your bags up... More

Cheap but no frills. Rooms are small with rock hard beds and no natural light, just a big fluorescent tube. Our room had a noisy water pipe above our ceiling that gushed water all night and two mornings we woke to ridiculously loud construction going on in the hotel right outside our rooms. Would have been understandable if it began... More

This is a good guest house for a budget stay. It is walking distance from the tourist bus stop and is just round the corner from the 'backpacker' strip of bars and restaurants. It was on a little side street so away from the main road noise. Rooms were fine, bit dated and hard beds but good for what you... More

Not much bothers me when I travel. I'm pretty easy going. But I do love my showers. In SE Asia, it's pretty hard finding a decent one, and I've stayed in many places. This place (we stayed in room 201) has an amazing shower. Hot, powerful, plenty of room and the water doesn't leak everywhere. We had a free breakfast... More

This was the second time I stayed here. The first time I got very sick and they organised me an ambulance to a hospital which was very good of them. Make sure you request a room on a lower level as there is no lift/elevator. We were on the fifth floor, so running up and down is a nightmare, but... More

I stayed here when I first moved to Saigon primarily because it's animal friendly. They were extremely accommodating with me and my dog even when she peed on their welcome mat and the bedsheets. They were also very friendly and helpful. I think that you really get more than you pay for here, the accommodation and the service. I'd recommend... More

Despite the other flagship 127 guesthouse getting all of lonely planet's praise we stayed at 184 as it was slightly cheaper and included breakfast, which was scrumptious. Omelette, baguette and fruit with choice of tea, coffee or juice. Excellent wifi in the rooms, very helpful and friendly staff. Hot water, good size rooms. In the heart if district 1 but... More

Literally loved it here! Staff couldn't be more helpful and friendly. Room was spotless, free breakfast and great location. Only thing i would say is that it gets a little noisey in the mornings at around 5am. But on a whole I couldn't be happier :) Thanks!
