Good location for the markets etc, but on the whole very average. On the first two nights we were put in a pokey 9th floor room that didn't resemble the rooms on the website. Very small and the lighting was poor. When we returned for a 3rd night (as part of our trip) we given a decent room (I expect... More

We were in room on the 11 floor - top floor which was awful. The toilet did not flush with out taking off the to of the cistern, the bathroom door did not close from the outside. Every time we came back we needed to phone reception to get our air con working. The rooms were very tired and cramped... More

I went in late Feb and stayed for 4 nights with a group of 30 guest. This is the only hotel which can give 15 rooms (with a viewing window) at the right price. The lobby has 2 sofas and 3 large chairs. There are 2 PC for the guest use to view e-mails, chatting and etc. The front desk... More

Stayed 2 nights as part of a tour group, will stay one more night after Homestay visit. Pleasant lounge and dining area. The breakfast range substantial, well presented and fresh. Air con efficient, and bathroom had a bath as well as shower. No issues.

We have travelled Vietnam more than 12 times and resided in many different 2-3 star hotels, this one would be on or near the bottom. We booked two rooms with windows through the Agoda website but when we arrived we were given rooms with no windows, we were told that if we wanted windows we would have to pay extra.... More

Only 200 meters from the Ben Thanh market. There is also a night market 6-12 every day, worth the visit The hotel was quite average for a 3 star hotel. Service was very good at reception and at breakfast. They allowed us a 2pm late check out. Choice for breakfast was basic: eggs, toast, fruit, some local dishes, weak juices,... More

We have stayed at the Gia Huy on prior trips to Saigon and found it to be a well placed hotel for the markets and things to see and do. This trip we arrived at the hotel and were told that it was full and that we could stay at the sister hotel of the same name 100 meters down... More

Stayed at this hotel for three non-consecutive nights as part of a tour group. Staff were very friendly, the WIFI, computers in Reception and breakfast were well done. The hotel is also centrally located. After concluding my three weeks in Vietnam I have seen a few hotels and got a feel for value for money in the 2-3 star bracket.... More

The hotel is perfectly located. Rooms are cheap and cheerful. The breakfast was tasty and substantial. There was building work going on in reception so everything was constantly covered in dust and there was banging from dust until dawn. The wifi didn't work in my room (floor 3). All of this I could deal with, the problem here was the... More
