We stayed in the Elios Hotel March 13th - 18th, 2008. We booked this hotel through our Travel Agent in Australia, so can not comment on the room rate, but I believe approx $50 pn. This hotel was not part of the usual air flight and accom package advertised by VietnamHolidays as Saigon was very busy. We were greeted with... More

We spent 3 nights in this hotel, 2 nights - at the beginning of our trip and 1 at the end of it. The hotel has got great location. There are a lot of restaurants, cafes, travel agencies and small shops around the hotel. Nice view from the top floor restaurant. Breakfast is quite nice and usual for Vietnamese hotels,... More

We were delighted to find everything as it should be at the Elios in February 2008. We stayed 3 nights paying about US$90 p.n. for a comfortable and well-equipped 8th. floor air-conditioned room overlooking the city, which was glazed for silence and cool. At every level, the staff were truly keen to help and advise, so polite and genteel. Buffet... More

The Elios Hotel we found to be a tad expensive for what was provided, but this comparison is to hotels in different cities / towns in Vietnam and is hence probably an unfair comparison. When we arrived, the taxi stopped us opposite the hotel (it was near impossible for it to turn around given the street conditions) and we were... More

Hi, I have been at Elios Hotel, very nice hotel, good service. The room always clean, room attentdances took care my room carefully with thier smiles. Good breakfast also.. I strongly recommend to everyone. However the rates now are 55 - 60$ not 35$ like Tripadvisor's posted Andy

I echo the sentiments of a lot of the reviewers here. The hotel is very new and much appreciated you have to walk up a grand staircase from the street. This helps in a lot of ways. You can get away from the madness and it keeps pollution and all the craziness outside from seeping into the lobby. One thing... More

Elios is the only mid range hotel I found in HoChi Minh City. I was there to visit a friend...and to gather information for a future visit with my husband and our friends. I looked at several hotels in the city and was either disgusted by the conditions or very overwhelmed by the price. Thats where Elios fits in. From... More

We stayed in this hotel for two nights in January 2008 and found it clean but characterless. More suited to a business hotel rather than tourist. The only minuses were noise: every footstep from the room above could be heard, as could furniture movements. Half the fixtures in the room did not work, particularly the lights and as it was... We stayed here for 2 nights in late December. This was my first trip to HCMC and I had heard the hotels were not very good. I was pleasantly surprised with the Elios. The hotel is located in a very interesting area, across the street from a nice park, with many good restaurants and shops nearby. The room was clean,... More
