Miss Loi's has been lovely. The room is a decent size, the bed is comfortable, and the air conditioning is very welcome in the heat. In addition to the air conditioning, the room comes with a small desk and chair, dresser with TV on top (unused but assume it works), refrigerator, simple bread + cheese + fruit + coffee breakfast,... I stayed there twice in January 2014. Its about 4 blocks away from the hyper environment 0f Phan Ngu Lao and greatly benefits from that distance. Off an small passageway that is like a very short private street w.normal Viet families living there. The young girls on staff are shy, cooperative and friendly. The place is clean and well run... I stayed here for 6 weeks in April. The guest house is hidden down a little alleyway so taxi's sometimes found difficult to find. My room was very clean, with a double bed, aircon, mini fridge and bathroom. The staff were very friendly and were always willing to help with anything! The guesthouse is in a great location only few... More

Second time staying at Miss Loi's guesthouse. Last time was for 2 months and this time currently staying for a month. HCMC has a myriad of options to choose from and we keep coming back to Miss Loi's place because the staff is trustworthy, the accommodation is clean and well kept, and location is excellent.

Me and my partner stayed at Miss Loi's for 5 nights in August/September 2013 and were very satisfied with our choice. It wasn't high season so we were able to just come and get a room without reservation. We stayed on a double room with A/C, which was very powerful (as was the fan) and a bit too noisy to... More

This is a friendly, quiet house. I've stayed here several times over the last 5 years, and always feel welcome. The rooms are larger than many others I've seen, The staff are friendly and efficient, and, if you're patient, they will overcome obstacles and clear problems in many languages. This place is sparkling clean - always. Miss Loi and her... More

If you're used to brand new stuff and shiny new hotels, Miss Loi's might not be your best choice, but of course you should pay more to upgrade to other hotels. The rooms are value for money, fan rooms are USD10 for one and they are roomy. The curtains and trashbins are a bit old, but it's on a quiet... More

I stayed here with a group of other people & shared in a twin bedroom for approximately 5-6 weeks back in May-June 2011. I loved it here! It was very clean (the girls would clean the downstairs at least 2-3 times per day) & close to the shops. It is tucked away in an alley way (cars can not go... More

Stayed here for three days for our first visit to Ho Chi Minh City having read positive reports about the Guesthouse. Hidden down an alley which the taxi driver did well to find. Quiet location not far from the noisier night life streets if you want to indulge. We were warmly welcomed by Miss Loi having booked the day before... More

If you are traveling in Asia, if you like local life, if you are trying to stay away of turist places, but like to see other travelers near by, if you like good local place, good coffee, great Pho, pretty good seafood at night, beer on the street, space in your room, cute curtains, eccentric owner, low price and room...
