We just completed a 3-day trip of Ho Chi Minh (Saigon) city and we were very happy about the trip. One of the big surprises of the visit was the hotel. I was not expecting much from the hotel as I only paid US$250 for the three-night stay. But the hotel was very nice and the service was excellent. We... More

This is the only hotel I have stayed at in Vietnam, so I don't have anything to compare it to, but I stayed 2 nights in the new wing. I didn't see the old wing, so I don't know anything about it. Looks like the new wing is the place to be. Room was clean, comfortable, and a good size.... More

We are at Royal Lotus now for three nights and this hotel has been easily the worst one throughout our one month vacation in Vietnam. - we asked for new tower, we were given a room in the old tower - we asked for a non-smoking floor/room especially since we have a 3 year old and a 5 month old;... I stayed in the old wing. The rooms are not big but okay. I think the room photos on their website maybe of the new wing. The location and the professional front desk service are fantastic. The foyer is beautiful with a bar and desktop computers for free use for guests. Recommended hotel in Saigon.

We stayed here in late February with the tour for 2 days. The location was very good and easy walking to the Opera House, shopping, and restaurants all over the areas. Our room was clean and adequate not big and not very small. WiFi was strong in our room. There was also a box of condoms in our room. We... More

There wasn't anything remarkable about this hotel. When we arrived in the evening, there was no door man and only one person working the desk. The room was clean and comfortable, but small. I was surprised to find a box of condoms on the room desk as a sale item (@ 2.50 USD), like items in a minibar. At first... More

My boyfriend was sick when we arrived and needed to lay down. The Royal Lotus was not prepared ( almost shocked we arrived? ) and said it would be an hour to prepare a room or we could relocate. We relocated to Northern Hotel which was dirty and unkempt; it was not a lateral move. The Royal Lotus tried to... More

We arranged a suite in the new wing thru Booking.com. Slightly more expensive than the old wing but definitely good value. Reception upon arrival was courteous and quick. Suite was very clean and quite impressive. Breakfast each day was included and while not overly sumptuous it was more than adequate and the staff in that area were great. Hovered like... More

I was a little hesitant to stay at the Royal Lotus after reading some of the reviews, but I was hoping for a place that was clean, comfortable and most of all quiet. We stayed here on two separate occasions in each of the two wings (classic and new) and never had any problems. Both times the rooms were very... More

I e-mailed Royal lotus in advance with a request that our family of eight be situated as close as possible together, we ended up on the 2nd, 3rd ,6th & 9th floor !! I was disgusted to find out that my 15 year old daughter had to sleep in a smokers bedroom that was quite frankly disgusting, we filled out... More
