The people at Hong Han sent a driver to pick us up at the airport, an invaluable service for the disoriented late night traveler. The also helped us get local train and plane tickets, and were super friendly all around. The hostel is smack in the middle of the backpacker district, which I found lively and fun. The breakfast at... More

Hong Han is a cute neat hotel in Saigon (Ho Chi Minh city). It is located in the center of the backpackers area, but it is only 15min walk from the center of the city and the museums. Staff is just so nice, so helpful, so kind! I miss Hue and her kind words. I will defenitely go back to... More

It was night time when we arrived in Saigon by bus from Siem Reap, we were dropped off in what looked like a city square, in the midst of a harsh rainfall. With our raincoats on, we navigated the busy streets of Pham Ngu Lao. The lights and sounds made all the establishments unrecognizable. We passed narrow alleyways, puddle-riddled streets... More

We booked this hotel as we had never been to HCMC before and it was recommended in the lonely planet guidebook. Despite email contact with the hotel just a couple of days before we arrived to find our room had been double booked. We were really frustrated as we had booked our room about 2 months in advance and no... More

A fantastic hotel situated in just the right place for those who are keen to experience the excitement of the city first hand. The beds were clean and beautiful to sleep in, and the breakfast of baguettes and omlettes each morning on the terrace was terrific. There's a computer with internet which was handy for checking emails. And the staff... More

The hotel and rooms are small but clean. The location is absolutely perfect. And the staff is really nice. The only sidenote i would like to make is that the breakfast they serve could be beter. But all in all Hong Han Hotel is a very good budget hotel.

We stayed here for one night, 16th of july, and this is by far the best place we had so far while traveling in Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam. Rooms were very clean and spacious, A/C and fan, warm showers and clean bathrooms. But most of all the BEST SERVICE / STAFF we've met so far: they helped us with everything.... More

We stayed at this hotel for 10 days. At first, we were a bit skeptical as to why it got such great reviews and why it was so cheap. We soon realized that the staff and location contributed to these great reviews. I'm a paranoid traveler by nature and I always prepare 10 steps ahead. That being said, this was... More

Hello! I actually traveled here in feb of 2012. It was AMAZING. Our first night at the hotel (and in Vietnam!!) my mom got terribly sick and had to go to the hospital. The owners were BEYOND helpful with the whole ordeal and helped me to navigate through the city to find soup , medicine etc. the rooms were beautiful... More
