Hong Han is the only option when staying in Ho Chi Minh, located directly in the centre of Bui Ven backpackers district everything you need is within walking distance. Along with Ben Tanh market, war remnants museum and more! Anh and Nhung take great care of you, looking after your every need. They helped us booked a couple of tours... More

For >15$ I was able to get a great 2-person, air conditioned room with a comfortable bed, mini fridge, clean private washroom and complimentary breakfast of eggs with tomatoes and onions, vietnamese bread, bananas and coffee at a convenient location right in central District 1 of HCMC. In addition to the room amenities and location, the staff was very friendly... More

The staff of this small hotel are so friendly. The rooms are well maintained and clean. You do have to walk the stairs, but the hotel is perfectly located in the backpacker area. All the restaurants and bars are within walking distance. Try the plastic chairs and enjoy people walking by in the evening in one of the street bars... More

I agree with fellow reviewers, the Hong Han hotel was the best value hotel that we stayed in whilst traveling Vietnam. More than the value though was the level of service, the care, consideration and friendship shown to us by Anh and Nhung was simply wonderful, and we totally recommend this hotel. Great location for bia hoi and street food... More

This was our first hotel we stayed in on our 2 week trip through Vietnam and we were pleasantly surprised. After a long flight check in was simple and we were shown to a clean, large room with twin beds which we felt was excellent value for money. Breakfast was good and served on the balcony overlooking a busy street-great... More

Extremely happy and friendly staff that are happy to chat, organise tours, pickups, accommodation for other areas. Room was comfortable, airconditioned and fanned, clean and tidy. The balcony was great for relaxing and enjoying a cold drink or breakfast and watching the bustle down below. The location was perfect because it is where all the action takes place but right... This hotel is bang in the middle of the backpackers district. The staff are friendly and warm, always smiling and answering any questions you may have. The terrace is a great little spot to drink a beer and eat breakfast. You'll get a good nights sleep here, it's not full of lairy backpackers, though you're close to the action you... More

I stayed here with two other friends. The woman who worked there was extremely friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Excellent location in district 1. close to eateries (some better than others) and nightlife (albeit backpacker night life). Positives: clean, friendly staff, breakfast included, excellent location, facebook accessible. Negatives: no lift. some rooms are on the 5th floor! Bathroom was... More
