been to vietnam 19 times! we've been many places, stayed at many hotels - ranging in prices. this hotel by far was the worst experience. many empty promises. we understand that developing cities have their share of construction but this hotel staff is not upfront about the situations. if you like heavy construction noise at 7am to 9:30pm then this... more

My frist time in vietnam, i stayed in this hotel during jun25-27,09. My friend who was working in HMC recommended me many budget hotels. However after read the review of this hotel, i chose Indochine. Better than my expectation, small room but clean, freindly and helpful front desk, and very good location. Only thing that you should concern is the... more

LOCATION & SURROUNDINGS - Its a good walk to the shopping area (Ben Thanh Market), just watch out for the traffic - Its hidden among the shop houses, try and spot for it - It has a pretty good cafe, bakery and Pho shop at the opposite road - KFC and money changer is just 10min walk from the hotel... more

If you need a cheap and clean place to stay- this is it. It's $40 bucks a night- up front. No questions asked. The rooms are clean and the people at the front desk are very nice. It's in district 1, right down the street from the Rex hotel and within walking distance of the market. more

We booked this hotel because of the cost and location. Even with those 2 things being good, we would not stay here again. We had a second floor room that was dark and in need of repair. Our room looked directly onto a brick wall so there was very little light. The carpet was dirty and there were cracks in... more

Got to know about this hotel from recommendations of fellow travellers. Stayed there last year, however when I visited the website again this year, the price seems to have been adjusted upwards already. It used to cost us only USD$25 for a superior room with two beds (1 Double & 1 Single) inclusive of breakfast. I find this hotel to... more

My review is coming in a little bit late but thought it would be somewhat helpful to send it in anyways. We stayed for a week (April 4th - April 11th) at this hotel and here are some of the pros vs cons: Pros: (1) Location is great as it is centrally located and within walking distance of the many... more

I booked this hotel for 2 nights in Ho Chi Minh city. My husband and I arrived at the hotel around 2 p.m. to check in. Our room cost $40/day. We were taken into a room on 1st floor. The bathroom was so horrible with so many cracks on the floor and on the wall, the bathtub was dirty, and... more
