This service apartment was a great way to have some much needed space for a family of 4. Very spacious, clean and the service was second to none. It is a little expensive compared to other hotels in Ho Chi Minh, but well worth it. Location is not bad, not quite in the heart of the city like it claims... More

Location: The hotel was in a walking distance to everything. Walking to a Ben Thanh market took about 30 min. HCMC streets were nice and we enjoyed our walk. Food: Limited selection and average quality buffet styled food for breakfast. One could also order from breakfast menu free of charge. We thought the hotel had a deal with highlands restaurant... We are a family of 2 adults and 2 teenagers. We have outgrown the one room these days, so whenever I can I book an apartment. The Somerset Chancellor did not disappoint. We had a lovely modern, clean 2 bdrm apartment. Daily service was done well and we were always left with water and fruit. The front desk staff spoke... More

My partner and I travelled with his parents, and were looking at two hotel rooms. We went with Somerset as a cheaper option and were glad we did. It gave us the separate rooms with tv to get our own space, and we also had a second toilet so it made it easy to share. We were then able to... More

We stayed here for 4 nights in a 2 bedroom apartment in July 2011. The great thing about having an apartment is that with 3 kids most hotels expect you to get 2 rooms. The apartments are great - really clean and very comfortable beds. The pool is on the 1st floor and is a welcome relief from the heat... More

This place made HCM easy. Staff all spoke fluent English and were very helpful. We had a 2 bedroom apt which was very spacious and had all amenities. Beds are comfy which we have found is rare in Vietnam. Pool is lovely. Checking out now. Hope next hotel is this good.

I have ever stayed in quite a lot of hotels in Europore and Asia. I found that Somerset chancellor court is the best place I have stayed and enjoy very much. Facilities, accommodation and people here are great. Location is in the city center. GREAT APARTMENT.

Singapore owned/run service apartments but locally built over 10 years ago so the decor looks a bit 1970s with orange tile everywhere. But the lobby is beautiful – and has some Singaporean, Japanese, and other newspapers to read. There’s a very useful, rather large, mini-mart open from 08:00AM-9:00PM. Bad attributes are the slow morning rush-hour elevators (2 elevators for 17... More

My family (2 adults, 2 teens) stayed at the Somerset Chancellor Court for 4 nights from 13/4/2011 at the start of our first trip to Vietnam. We were extremely pleased when shown our 2 bedroom apartment which was large, beautifully furnished and very clean. The kitchen seemed well stocked though we didn't eat in and there was a laundry with... More
