I stayed 2 nights at the Somerset Chancellor Court while on a business trip. I'd booked an Executive Studio but was upgraded to a 2-bedroom apartment, which is spacious enough for a family of 4 (and hence too big for one person). The main bedroom has a CRT TV, while the living room has a large LCD TV. The second... More

Being rated a 5 star, I was 'very' disappointed. The rooms are very dated and basic. The bathrooms are what I would have seen in the 1970's. I had come from a 4 star that I would rate much highly than the Somerset. I would rate this hotel about a 3 star. I think you could find much better value... More

I have stayed many times with Ascott, or Somerset. But this particular property is not up to its rating. Great position, and that is it. Phoned reception and asked if this is the room I paid for after seeing standards at other properties. Was disappointed with response but anyway it is only ok. Really only 3 1/2 star

We stayed here for 4 nights, and loved it. But we came in with the right expectations - we wanted a serviced apartment, NOT a hotel, and that's what we got. On the PLUS side: Huge rooms, including a big living room, which was a plus for those in the family who needed to work or watch TV when the... More

conveniently located to district 2, very clean and quiet, good location and a good place to stay in Saigon. As soon as we arrive there was this tour desk and we were treated with warm welcome, immediately booked for a day tour and the price was pretty reasonable, US 30 per person for a half day tour. The front desk... More

Must say that breakfast at highland coffee shop was definitely not worth it and we didn't go back. Manager seemed like a vulture watching to see how much money he was going to make that morning. Children were not catered for at all, no baby chairs and limited selection for them. Pot of tea was cold and when I spoke... More

Beautifully decorated: every convince required, well maintained. Helpful staff, good location away from the persistent touts in district 3. Small mini mart on the ground floor. Lifts were not great, only 2 lifts for a large complex.

We enjoyed the last few days in Vietnam here and the two bed apartment met all our needs. Location is good close to good restaurants. Has a Buffalo Tours desk who organised two great tours for us. It was good having the laundry facility although the machine was a bit temperamental when we called for help the engineer came promptly.... More

We stayed 3 nights with our children aged 15 and 17. The appartment offers a lot of space and is very well located. Most of the attractions are at a walking distance. The Wifi connection works very well and it is nice to have a small supermarket at the ground floor. the recpetion staff is very helpful. I would really... More

Stayed here for 1 week over new year and it was perfect! The apartment was immaculate and very spacious. Balcony on the living area and bedroom facing out the rear over the pool. Pool was fantastic, very clean, free towels from the large well sticker gymnasium! Male & female steam rooms. Location was perfect, 10 minute walk to the center... More
