This is a nice hotel in the middle of it all, and only about 1 block from the Benh Thanh market. The room was nice, the view was ok, the lobby was nice, and the breakfast was buffet. In reference to the previous comments about crossing the street - The safest way to cross the street in Vietnam is to:... More

The hotel is very clean and the staff helpful and friendly. When it is your first time in Vietnam you will have to learn how to cross the street! There are over 10 million people in Saigon and over 6 million motor cycles: How to cross the road when faced with 30 to 40 angry hornets bearing down on you,... More

The hotel reception is located up a steep flight of stairs but fortunately the lift also goes to the garage underneath so wheelchair access is quite easy. The room was quite small and I found the bed to be very hard and uncomfortable. The breakfast room was quite cramped and although we weren’t late for breakfast there was little choice... More

Stayed a few nights with my wife and 2yo daughter recently. We booked a deluxe triple room but when we arrived we were upgraded to a family room for no extra charge. This would normally not be a problem but my wife wanted the deluxe triple because it had a bathtub and the family room only had a space age shower cubicle... Ha Hien is all about location. It is just around the corner from the Ben thanh market, 15 min walk to the war remnants museum, 15/20 min walk through the city to the riverfront. The staff were very helpful and friendly and even accommodated us when we had made a mistake with our booking. The breakfast is good. We had... More

On our last day in HCM, I booked this hotel because we want to spent our time shopping at Ben Thanh Market. Other than the location, there is nothing impressive about this hotel. I booked 3 triple suite and 1 double room. All the rooms are with windows. The room furniture and linens are dated. The bathroom is small, old... More

Very nice hotel. Immaculate, good beds and linens. Front reception very helpful with taxis, tours, suggestions. Overall a very positive experience! The breakfast buffet was as nice as any in this Vietnam-Cambodia trip. Quail eggs no less, and excellent soup! Highly recommended!

Great location. Staff was very nice, always helpful. I went back to the same place because of them. The breakfast - compared to other hotels - is average (and I am generous). Could improve on the food. The rooms are clean, but simple. As people said, the mattress is hard - but I quite liked that. No windows in standard... More

Friendly helpful staff. Around the corner from Ben Thanh markets so walking distance to the major sights of HCM. Room was clean. hard beds as is common inVietnam. A bit of street noise but not too bad. Early morning noise transfer from floor above. Breakfast was ok although things supposed to be warm were cold. A/c and hot water all... More

Been to HCMC last couple of days for holiday. Was having a good stay at Ha Hien 1 Hotel. Location-wise, the hotel is situated within walking distance to some of the landmarks of HCMC. E.g., Ben Thanh market is about 300 meters from the hotel, and it'll take only about 15 minutes walk to the Independence Palace and the Golden... More
