Ate here for breakfast, ate here for dinner, several times. Nice service, open kitchen which is a pleasure to watch. The menu is incredible, with so many options that everyone should find something to their taste. Plus, it's tasty, good value, convenient the location on a pedestrian street. Only wish they had soap in the washrooms.

Spent time in HCMC a few times over a couple of months and this is the best restaurant in the area. Great meals, flavorsome vegetarian options and affordable prices. Very busy at meal times so be patient with the staff who get a bit overwhelmed. Found after a few days that all the expats living in the area go here... More

Hidden gem in Saigon, food is absolutely amazing and ridiculously cheap, for this quality and size of the dishes. You cannot be disappointed, atmosphere is also beautiful in the small alley. Drinks and 7 dishes for 3 people amounted to approx 12 USD (!)

My boyfriend and I have been staying at this hotel since end of January and liked it so much we've prolonged our stay for a couple months now! We came to Vietnam to teach English and had intended on moving into our own place as soon as we got employment figured out. We thought we'd go to Bui Vien, the... More

We ate at Bee-Saigon (185-16 Pham Ngu Lao). For under $20 AUS we had 2 beers, 2 cocktails and 4 different dishes. All the food was fantastic. Some of the best we have had in Vietnam. Highly recommend you try it. We stuck with Vietnamese options. Bun Bo Hue was delicious, full of flavour.

Average place to stay. Rooms are above the restaurant with the same name. Room was clean (got a window on the inner wall - so slightly stuffy), bed comfortable (just the blanket was quiet strange), bathroom ok, towels/sheets could be either washed properly or just altogether thrown away as there were few stains. Booked for two nights but was told... More

Tucked away just off the main backpacker street is Bi Saigon, a great favourite with tourists & expats alike. Friendly service; great food at very reasonable price; fast service; clean restrooms; WiFi. Huge & Baird menu with all items made fresh to order. You won't be disappointed.

Lovely setting, a bit out of the way but do take a taxi & eat there. Downstairs is a bit more exotic but usually requires a reservation. Upstairs is very nice too, don't be afraid (and you'll walk by the carp pond and the kitchen.) i'll definitely go back, great food and reasonably priced.

It is my first time in Asia and I have heavily relied on traveller reviews so I am doing the same to help others. I have searched for this restaurant just to post a review and say what an amazing food, service and restaurant this place is for ridiculously low cost. It is tucked away from backpackers street, yet very... More

First off, I didn't stay at the hotel, but we were staying on the street and found this to be the best restaurant around the area in terms of quality and price. This is in the backpackers area so the prices are not as cheap as Vietnam could be, but they are very reasonable here. A bowl of pho was... More
