If you don't want to sleep or use the internet for anything, then this hotel is for you! There's some sort of exercise class that starts at five in the morning right opposite the hotel in the park. The rooms are very badly soundproofed, so you will hear absolutely all of it as though the window was open. It's bad... More

After being given a twin instead of a double which was requested rooms were changed without to much hassle or a smile from the desk lady. The room was good could have been a bit cleaner but overall OK. Breakfast was great and the hotel location is spot on if you want to be close to everything, market, restaurants and... More

The hotel is on the main street of Ho Chi Minh, all you need is at walking distance. The rooms are large and clean. No sounds and no lights make your sleep really confortable. Breakfast has a large choice, including meals, cheese, cakes and fruits. Only a weak point: wifi internet connection sometimes is slow. A good choice for a... More

We stayed here one night. Our room was terrible noisy: traffic in the street in the evening and screaming taiji exercises in the park in the morning at 5 am. The room was not clean, floor full of some dirty spots and the bathroom sticky in some point. The service in the reception is poor. I tried to chance some... More

We had to stay at this place for 1 night. Had to is the key word in my review. 1. The staff never smiles. 2. Rooms - very smelly and faceless. 3. Overpriced for the quality they provide. 4. Breakfast is OK. 5. Wifi is of a poor quality. The hotel boasts their 3 stars and multiple tourist rewards, but... More

Could not fault this hotel. My wife and I had a great 3 day stay here. If you're travelling from Seim Reap, take the Big Ibis Bus. It's a fairly long journey, with all the rigmarole of crossing the border into Vietnam but it'll drop you off almost right at the front door of the hotel as the Big Ibis... More

I really enjoyed my space at the Vien Dong, the hotel room was clean, spacious, included complimentary water & tea, plus was in a great location. It was about a 30-40 min taxi ride from the airport and the staff was friendly and easy to communicate with. The breakfast was great, with hot and cold options. The rooms were quiet... More

We loved our stay in the Vien Dong Hotel in HCMC/Saigon. The price was reasonable (in my view, good) with breakfast included and the room was spacious and clean. The location was excellent. It was across the road from the Giant Ibis bus stop to/from Phnom Penh and within easy walking distance of many of the sights and attractions. It... More

This is a good hotel and I feel I could be guilty of damning with faint praise. Pleasant and obliging staff. Clean. Comfortable. Good central location. Just rather characterless and fronted right on to the maelstrom of HCMC city traffic. Stepping out the door was enough of a thrill for this - admittedly in remission - adrenalin junkie. Hotel provided... More
