3 star hotel, the rate is very reasonable for such a great location on Dong Khoi, the nicest street in Ho Chi Minh city and it includes breakfast on the rooftop restaurant. The carpet in the hall looks outdated but the room is very pleasant, quite spacious and extremely clean. I did stay 2 nights at the Caravelle Hotel, a... More

Although located in the heart of the city centre and being walking distance to the main restaurants and shopping malls, service could have been better. Our rooms were not properly attended to - bathrooms not cleaned properly. Buffet breakfast was disappointing too. Although, the rooftop dining area was very different and good ambience. Staff werent necessarily rude but werent necessarily... More

This wasthe last hotel in our trip around Vietnam and we were quite disappointed with it. We had read other reviews before booking and thought it sounded quite good. I honestly don't know what the other reviewers saw in this hotel. When we arrived at the hotel with two large and heavy suitcases we struggled with the door as the... More

Stayed here for 4 nights as part of a cycling tour. Great hotel with helpful and friendly staff. Room we had was street facing but quiet enough, amazing views of all the bikes roaring up and down the street. I particularly liked the rooftop terrace where you can have breakfast on some days. Food was varied and plentiful. Pool is... More

For such a centrally located hotel this has a lot of advantages. In particular I was impressed with the lavish breakfast buffet and the rooftop swimming pool which although small looked very inviting (if it had not been for the torrential rain shower just at the moment I had gone up to use the pool - beware the 4pm rain... Spent my last night in Vietnam at this hotel and found it was great. As in great location, service and a great night sleep.... Breakfast was a good start to the day as i had to fly back to Bangkok. I will be booking at this hotel again when i am in Saigon.

We stayed here for two nights in November. The location was great, and the hotel had a very grand look to it. However, the hallways were filled with the heavy smell of cigar smoke. Our room smelled like old cigarettes. There were no smoking signs around, yet ashtrays were provided everywhere, including the hallways, which may have explained the smoke... More

This unpretentious establishment sits amidst some very grand company, on Dong Khoi, a mostly upmarket district of central Saigon. we stayed 3 nights here on our 4th trip to this chaotic vibrant city... quiet, cool, comfortable.. spacious rooms with magnificent baths.. the rooftop buffet breakfast a great way to start the day.. to sit in the languid early morning, fanned... Great Location, Excellent Service, Breakfast Buffet was lovely, sitting up on the roof terrace. Swimming Pool was good and always had a staff person attending it. Was travelling with our 4 year old and the staff made a great effort to engage him. Overall good value for money, although charged us a higher price when we extended our stay. I think... More

This was an excellent hotel to stay at. We got upgraded as we were there for 10 nights. The staff were professional and helpful. It was clean and very convenient for everything. Minutes from the Opera house, Cathedral and Old Post Office. Would stay here again. The bed was very comfortable, sadly not the pillows!
