This is a very centrally located, reasonably priced, high quality hotel. It's easy to walk amost anywhere in the city (or at least in the 1st district) from here. It's located close to the river, which isn't that much of an attraction anyway, but gives you access to the Ben Thanh market, museums and plenty of great restaurants nearby. I... More

Overall there was no issues during my stay at Huong Sen, but it was nothing spectacular. Hnce the mid range rating. Service was pretty standard, no big smiles or welcome as you get in most places. Doorman standing inside the large lobby area rather than at the door? The rooms are an excellent size, however the furnishings of them make... More

stayed 4 nights. we found hotel to have excellent service, pool was clean, rooms was clean, breakfast was superb and omelettes made on request. The rooms was clean and a little out dated for the $$$ Stayed elsewhere in Vietnam for cheaper with a swimming pool.

Stayed here for four nights and it was a perfectly fine, centrally located hotel. We stayed in one of the bigger rooms and brought in an extra bed for one of our children. Although we never reserved the bed, it was given to us with no fuss for a nominal charge of US$10 per night. Room was a little old... More

We had a few nights at Huong Sen. Everything was perfectly fine however have had better experiences elsewhere in Vietnam for the same price. Staff were very considerate and helpful. We had massages, I would probably skip it given the option again.

This is a great small hotel in a very good position in Dong Koi street. It is walking distance to Ben Tanh market and the Jazz Club in Le Loi Street which is well worth a visit. The shops along Dong Koi street, which is the main street in Saigon, are a treasure trove. Our room was very nice and... More

We stayed at this hotel at the beiging of a cycle tour and at the time there was a lot of building work going on next to it, which was loud and started very early (which is understandable due to the heat but not great). The staff were not very helpful, when i asked where the best place to get... More

Good hotel in close proximity of town. Eventhough the hotel is a old one it is maintained in elegance. Staffs were courteous and very helpful. Breakfast buffet was also nice. Their rooftop restaurant was also awesome. Hotel is located very near to Saigon Opera House. Reception staff was very helpful for guiding us the way in English (which is also... More

We chose this hotel because it was an affordable hotel in District 1 with a swimming pool. We were not disappointed. The first stay we had a room with balcony overlooking the street, the rooms were a good size. The second stay we had a triple room with no view, but large and quiet. Breakfast was very good. The staff... More

We could not rate our stay enough. The hotel did not charge us for our first night reserved as our plane connections were delayed. The staff (in particular Ms Oanh) were so accommodating and our room spacious. Although the pool was small, it was large enough for the kids to have fun. Breakfast buffet was also a hit. Very central... More
