While agreeing generally with previous good reviews, I was shocked to be charged USD $ 16 to have a small laundry done. 3 tee shirts, 5 underpants, handkerchief, couple other small items. Be sure you understand the prices because it is robbery. more

This is a decent place in the heart of the business district. Lots of good restaurants and shops nearby and very close to some major sites. In the same area as all the top-dollar hotels so very easy to visit some of the nice terrace bars. I found the staff to be very friendly and helpful when asked. The rooms... more
Contacted the property directly and we weren't dissapointed. Though it pains me to say that we had a look at The Rex in HCMC, but were dissapointed by that big name hotel, which is why we decided to stay at The Bongsen Annex. The hotel was clean, bright, in a great location and that is what we wanted in our... more
Got this hotel for USD60 after taxes and fees on ratestogo.com. I don't think this was a very good price, but I did book it only 3 days in advance, so I can't complain. There are quite a few decent looking hotels in Dong Khoi though, so I wouldn't be surprised if you could get a better deal at another... more
The hotel is seen as a businessman's hotel, rather than a holiday, and I can see why. The rooms were very small and simple but always clean. Renovations were taking place right outside our 4th storey window and they starting working at 7am so if you wanted to sleep in or wanted an afternoon nap you wouldn'y have much luck.... more
Stayed at this clean hotel for 3N. A little pricey for its basic small room which is equipped with a safe and cable TV. But good location if you're looking to walk to major tourist sites and the old quarter of HCMC. Despite being placed on the 7th floor, traffic and construction noises could be heard as early as 6am... more
Reasonably good place to stay. Try to book your rooms in HCMC much earlier if you can because the really good rooms at the better hotels are snapped up pretty fast. I would recommend you the best deal at www.vistalandtravel.com . Overall the stay in Bong Sen Annex was pleasant, the room was clean, the breakfast was pretty good and... more
Stayed at the Bong Sen 2 for just two nights after flying in from London. General Check in was quick and the staff seemed very friendly, helpful and efficient. Room service was prompt. A good budget hotel. Location A short walk from the centre of Saigon - we were still suffering from the culture shock of Saigon's traffic but managed... more
We stayed at Bong Sen 2 for 3 nights in total. We had a city-view room, though the view was nothing special. As a result of being at the front of the hotel, we found the street noise was quite load until the traffic settled around midnight. Breakfast was ok, but nothing special. The room was on the smallish side,... more
My partner rather naively booked this hotel from Australia before we left. He was quoted USD80 for a standard room. As it was the first hotel we stayed in in Vietnam we weren't really across how much things cost. But the room was basic. Nice and clean and all the things you needed, but basic. No views or anything like... more
