I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights only, but I felt strongly the staffs' hospitality! They recommended to me the best pho restaurant in HCMC, and gave me lots of advices like the fair price for Ao Dai. It's very convenient to get the main tourist sights and open bus companies. Bars and Cafes are all around as well!... More

We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights. When we came into the room there was a big stain of Make-up on our sheets,it looked like they hadn't even changed that. The bathroom wasn't clean either, there were still black hair in the sink and shower from the person who was in that room before as well as stains in the... More

I selected Gia Vien hotel after reading previous reviews and I was very impressed. Tony and all the staff were so unfailingly helpful and attentive to any guest concerns. Check in was quick and uncomplicated. Daily breakfast included was just lovely with both western and Vietnamese options. My room was spacious, stocked minibar, satellite TV (World Cup & Wimbeldon), gorgeous... More

Booked for a Superior Double about half an hour before we checked in around noon via booking.com. Hotel didn't receive our booking so shown them our email. Was upgraded to deluxe double which I assumed superior double was either full or have yet to clean up. Room was pretty big and bed was comfortable except the pillow was rather flat.... More

typical small boutique hotel. smaller rooms have no windows but good beds, working tv, functional wifi which is more than most hotels. breakfast is decent- not great but ok. staff is wonderful! English spoken fluently, always ready with a smile and hello. value is 5-star. down in the hub of the backpacker district but without the unpleasant backpacker smells... great... More

Stayed in this hotel in December for four nights. Upon my complaint of being allotted a deluxe room on the second floor and at the back of the room, the owner came to my rescue by offering me a suite on the upper floor. It was immaculating clean with a long bath. The surrounding bars and restaurants did not affected... More

Cannot fault it for what we wanted. Only had 1 night in HCMC, but location made exploring district 1 very easy in that time, including War Remnants museum, just a short walk away. They gave us a free "VIP" room upgrade, which was as good as 4 or 5 star places in UK. We had an early flight (6am), they... More

We stayed for 4 nights in a double room with no window, which we'd booked in advance. The room was very clean, comfy bed with decent bathroom, however no bath. Fittings looked very new and our room was quiet. The only negative about the room was that there was an ashtray and smoking stand right outside the door, meaning that... More
