I've stayed at the Spring Hotel many times since 2004. The hotel is clean and the service is great. The breakfast is quite good and the location is excellent. I think the staff are trying even harder to ensure the guests needs are met. The WIFI was excellent and remained on my entire stay. Christmas Eve is the time Ho... more

Our arrival at the Spring Hotel was late at night, but we were warmly welcomed. The day front desk staff did all they could to assist to make our stay a happy one. The hotel is very clean, great service, and an excellent in house resturant which provides a great breakfast included in the tarrif. I would say that the... more

If you want to be right in the heart of things but not pay 5 star prices this is the answer. The staff were very helpful, the rooms clean and cool, and you can't get much more central for district 1 / Saigon. Those who complained over the airport transfer price need a reality check - all hotels make a... more

I discovered Spring Hotel about 12 yrs ago and have loyally stayed with them every time I visited Vietnam (sometimes 2-3 times a year). Then, they were friendly, accommodating, and not as busy. Since many travel books- Lonely Planet included- wrote them up I find the following: (1) Their service has become more impersonal (2) Prices have gone up (3)... more

I stumbled across the Spring Hotel in 2001 when I was working in Vietnam and paid about US25 a day when comparable hotels were charging double that price. Nothing much has changed in the past 8 years - the Spring still remains remarkable value. The staff are still just as friendly as ever and the breakfast is still fantasic. I... more

This hotel was always going to be a 5 out of 5 for until they ruined it at the very end. I paid $USD18 per night for a room that was very small, but clean and brand new. I was in a floor that had no lift access and I suspect had recently been converted from an empty space with... more

We booked this hotel because it was Lonely Planet's pick. As someone else said in their review, it wasn't ours. We paid $45/night, and felt we got very little for that price, especially compared to other similarly-priced hotels elsewhere (including the bigger cities). The room was on the bigger side, and it was clean, but not quite sparkling enough to... more

We stayed for three nights. Value for money was okay. Breakfast was fine. The rooms were small but clean. The staff were generally helpful, but why oh why did they let themselves down as we were leaving by trying to charge us over double for an airport taxi. They wanted me to pay them and they said they would pay... more

We found several cockroaches in our room. We stayed several other places in Vietnam that were cheaper, cleaner, and much nicer. They also overcharged us for the taxi from the airport. more
