I've stayed in many places around the world, for more money or less money, fancier and less fancy, but no place has the hospitality and attentive staff like the Caravelle. I have stayed there repetedly over the last 15 years and never been disappointed. I can't recommend this hotel more highly. more

We had a standard room, but it had the most comfortable beds we've ever experienced. Everything squeaky clean (and working). The staff were courteous , friendly, efficient & helpful. Great situation - we attended a Sunday night concert in the Opera House just across the road. There are many excellent restaurants and shops close by. more

We stayed three nights. Check in was rather officious and unfriendly - check out was a farce.
