Large old somewhat pompous hotel in a superb location. Very close to restaurants, shops and walking streets. We took massage in a saloon right accross the street (or square?). It was the best massage i had in Vietnam. The room was spacious, nice and clean.

I've stayed there with my family three times. Once we was together with my wife, second time we've travelled together with my parents and third time we was with our son, 9 month old at the moment. Very nice place. Good service, nice breakfasts, cosy rooms and comfortable location - all for a very reasonable price. Just step outside of... More

The staff are lovely and welcoming and the lobby has beautiful air conditioning... that was it for me. The hotel is in need of a tidy up, if it wants to hold onto it's 4 star rating. The bathroom floor was always wet, and furniture tired. The worst part was as soon as I arrived I noticed the air con... More

This is the third time we've stayed at the Kim Do. The key advantage is that it is a great central location. The staff are friendly and the rooms while not 5 star are clean and well maintained (except for a small issue with the air conditioner which was quickly resolved). The breakfast has a wide assortment of dishes and... More

Beds = rock hard Chairs = rock hard (it is almost like they kept the box spring and ditched the mattress) I have slept in bus stations that were more comfortable. I do not know who is ranking these locations -- backpackers? but it is a tiny, rock hard, uncomfortable hotel

We stayed in room 507, with views worth keeping the windows closed for! My son enjoyed the pool after long days sight seeing and I enjoyed the massages. The breakfasts were fine with a lot of Asian choices but sufficient western choices too. It is a very central location and diagonally opposite to your left when leaving hotel (can't remember... More

Location is perfect! <10 mins walk to ben tahn market, approx 7mins walk to saigon Square for some good shopping and 2mins walk to the famous coconut ice-cream place! It's also 3 mins walk to a chic little Lane of pubs, restuarants and Fanny ice cream! (Behind the hotel) Hotel wise, service is really good. Vietnamese are generally hospitable.the hotel... More

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and enjoyed our stay. We had a super deluxe room which was very large clean and safe. The bedding was quite comfortable and the bathroom clean with good supply of toiletries. Breakfast was nothing spectacular . The bacon was awful and fruit selection limited. The breakfast room was noisy with many guests.... More

Great sized rooms, beds a little hard and the showers just good enough in a dated bathroom. But the position is great, easy walk to the markets, plenty of choices for food and the staff were helpful. The pool is good for swimming but not for relaxing as the indoor/outdoor area just doesn't invite lazing around.
