Great stay for 5 days, wonderful staff. They could not be more helpful. The wifi is not so good, even though just started a few months ago. But the IT people really did try to make better. Housekeeping staff and restaurant super. Nga was especially nice in restaurant. I would always stay at this hotel. more

As others have written in their review, the reason for choosing this hotel is due to its location. Its about 10-15 mins walk away to Benh Thanh area and hence not that busy. Its also beside a department store / supermarket. Room is large and clean so can't really complain. Together with the Oscar Saigon, its one of the more... more

If you want to be in the center of Saigon (shopping, hotel scene, buzz, killer motorcycles, traffic and pollution), then you should stay at Kimdo. That's pretty much what it's about (and the friendly staff). It's walking distance to Ben Tanh market and Dong Khoi St. The hotel itself is a bit dated and stuffy (not to mention that moldy... more

I stayed at the Kimdo earlier this month and it was a great choice. We paid around $100 / night, and for that price, we got a very spacious and clean room, really convenient location right in the midst of the shopping and nightlife, friendly hotel staff, free internet, and a breakfast buffet. Though the Sheraton or Rex look much... more

Stayed in the Kimdo Royal Hotel on a weekend trip to HCMC with friends. The hotel is much cheaper than the high-end Sheraton and Renaissance, but provides decent service and the same great location. Kimdo, like all the other hotels in the city (?) is locatedin the city centre, just 2 minutes away from the beautiful City Hall and in... more

Hotel room is spacious and clean but the bed is too hard for me, like sleeping on a traditional chinese bed. Location is quite convenient for adult but not suitable for old people and baby. Required 15 - 20 mins walk to Benh Tan Market/ Saigon square. 5-10 mins walk to Dong Khoi Street, right in front, one street away... more

The hotel was conveniently located near the shopping areas, Ben Than market was about 10 mins away. Plenty of scooters willing to bring you around for about USD 1. The breakfast at the hotel was rather dissapointing especially since I've read some good reviews about it. I'd suggest skipping the breakfast buffet and heading to the local markets for a... more

This hotel had a friendly staff and nice lobby. It was very centrally located , half a block to the Rex. My room was an inner room, and there were a couple of windows but not much light. The one good thing about that is I didn't get any street noise whatsoever. The breakfast buffet was really good, one of... more

Travel agent recommended this Hotel ( Rex was booked out - now I'm pleased it was!). Twin room was huge, and at back of Hotel was quiet. Excellent service from housekeeping. Though Hotel was fully booked, they went out of their way to organise a room for late check out for our group and provided copious fresh towels. Great position... more
