We are currently staying at this hotel. The room smelt very bad when we first entered, possibly mouldy or just stale air due to no windows. The smell has improved somewhat with the air con on overnight. The room is very small & furnishings very old. The bathroom is very cramped with just a shower that tends to flood the... more

This hotel is well situated in a nicer part of the downtown area. The room was spacious although it had no outlook, unlike most others. I was on the second floor and my window looked onto a courtyard, which I think covered a car park or hotel service area, as there was a little noise in the earlier part of... more

We were in Saigon to visit family who lives there, and were recomended to stay at the Palace hotel because of the location. First we went directly to the hotel and asked for the rate, and were given a much higher price than we were quoted at the agency upthe road. So we went back to the agency to book... more

I spent one month in HCMC in Palace hotel and I was a little worried when i read the reviews at first and was planning on moving hotels the moment i landed. But the place was quite nice. although the rooms were not that spacious the hotel is clean and comfortable. the location is fabulous...walking distance to all the major... more

Very pleasantly suprised!! We had read lots of bad reviews saying it was noisy dirty etc. We even tried to book somewhere else just before leaving Aus, but on arrival we were really suprised and happy, the room was small but spotlessly clean and the staff were very kind and obliging we had a small balcony and the night club... more

Went to the Palace hotel over the last weekend. I initially booked a suite room here as they looked quite roomy. However after reading some of the previous reviews and worried about the state of the room, I ugraded to the next room category up which is the signature, I stayed in the deluxe which had a balcony which was... more

We are very happy. Stayed in 709. quiet and clean. The meal in the resturant was a delight. 285,000 vd for 2 people with unlimited food and wine. Had the wobbly boot on as we left. Heard that there was a problem with a nightclub in the past but that has long since gone. Top location. Recommended more

stayed overnight just to see if it has improved. was not disappointed. attentive staff, nice clean rooms. however, there is no gym so if you are looking for a hotel with a good one, you may be disappointed. otherwise, it's a good value for money, well located so you are near where good shopping and restaurants can be found within... more

I went here on two separate occasions within the space of five days - it was booked by my tour guide for both times. I was booked in for a suite. On the first occasion, I got a "Superior" room ($5/night more expensive than the old suite) - apparently it was recently refurbished, but it's a small room, and shower... more

This hotel looked nice enough but seemed to have few 'aroma' issues. Reception smelt awful - almost like mix of sewage and mothballs and our room absolutely stank of that nasty 'wet dry wet dry cheap shower curtain' smell - nothing we did got rid of it. Added to that, the room we were in had apparently been recently refurbished... more
