Right in the heart of the City, nice hotel and good rooms with plenty of space. Staff are polite and helpfu and breakfast is to a high standard. Just a short walk to all of the local attractions, shops and food. The pool is small but great for cooling off after a hot day. Would stay again.

This is a clean and functional but somewhat sterile western hotel. The hotel charges for broadband internet access, which is unusual in Asia and represents typical practice found in major Australian hotels, which are often 10 years behind trends elsewhere. There is free WiFi in the foyer, but it is difficult to Skype using video as the video quality is... More

Great hotel, spacious, staff great and fabulous location. Everything you need isn't far away and there is plenty to do in and around the hotel. This was the best breakfast we had in Vietnam on a months tour, loads of choice, it would be worth staying a few more days to try it all! The rooms were functional, nice size... More

Fantastic Hotel, fantastic service, Our luggage was taken to our room for us once we checked in, fresh fruit arrived minutes later, we were shown how to use every thing in our room. Breakfast was great couldn't ask for any thing else from cereal, cooked eggs, salads, asian food, fruit juice, tea coffee, Danish pastries and lots more than I... More

I travelled to Ho Chi Minh City on business recently and stayed at the Duxton Hotel. I was there for a week and my stay was pleasant enough until the 6th night. My fiance was arriving for the 6th and 7th night and I had previously advised reception. Naturally I was very much looking forward to her arrival. I picked... More

From the outside the hotel looks quite grand, with a fountain at the entrance. However, its days of being a grand hotel have gone way past. It is in desperate need of refurbishment. The main hotels in Ho Chi Minh City offer way better facilities and modern rooms, with free wifi and flat screen TV's and a more contemporary feel.... More

We chose this hotel for its convenient location. Stayed there 4 nights with my husband on business. Disappointing ! Bed and room rather tight for 2 persons with view on the ugly roofs of old buildings next door...and the tiny pool below. As restaurants close early, we ordered room service, food was not good. Poor bowl of soupe Pho and... More

The hotel is well-located. The breakfast is a large international buffet that is good. It has a grand entrance and the staff are helpful. But next time, I will probably look for a less expensive three star hotel. Everything seemed over-priced and impersonal and the rooms are pretty basic - not luxurious.
