We spent 3 nights here and didn't have any complaints. Yes, the carpet was stained (as others have commented), but everything was clean and comfortable, so what more could you ask for? We were lucky to have adjoining rooms, so actually gave us more space to move around in. The facilities are great, and we loved the breakfast - there... More

I agree with the reviews that point out that the Duxton is very much in need of a refurbishing especially the bathrooms. There's no excuse for their charging four and five stars rates for these sorry rooms. It would be wrong to judge the entire staff on the poor performance of only one its members but there is one young... More

We stayed at this hotel 3 nights. Those looking forward to a refreshing dip in the pool will be disappointed. The pool is postage stamp size and not every appealing. There is a strip of fake grass presumably for tanning. The workout room is near the pool. Those wishing to workout are better off going for a walk outside. Equipment... More

My friend and I arrived at the Duxton as a final stop to our 2 week trip through Vietnam. Comparatively, the Duxton wasn't a highlight. But it certainly does have a number of things to boast about: - It's location is fabulous. Right in the heart of town. The Ben Than markets are within easy walking distance, as are a... More

My husband and I stayed at the Duxton for four nights (3 nights in an executive room and 1 night in a standard room after travelling to Hoi An). The hotel lobby, bar and restaurant was well presented and the staff were attentive and helpful. The hotel offers broadband internet so we brought our own router so we could access... More

We spent four Nights at the Duxton during a golf trip in HCMC. Hotel is centered and you can easily access to all the major hot spots. Rooms are small but clean and convenient. No king bed available. Only bad point : the staff is generaly unsmiling especially at the breakfast where they really show their bad temper. No internet... More

An amazing hotel for a very reasonable price. Staff are excellent, can't do enough to help and there is tour guide desk within the hotel which gives good prices for tours and trips. The Cu-Chi tunnels are a must, a fascinating insight into Vietnam's past. The location of this hotel is superb, very central and easy to walk everywhere within... More

My wife and I stayed at this hotel from 26 to 28 October 2010. As originally proposed room on the ninth floor was a strong buzz from the air conditioning system. This hum can be heard even in the hallway 9-th floor. We changed the number of 6-th floor. Living Rooms - 70-80 th years. Conditioner on the very lowest... More
