This is a very good business hotel at a very convenient location, right in the middle of the city. Only downside is that it is fairly expensive (although international class business hotels tend to be expensive in HCMC). There is nothing truly outstanding or memorable in this hotel, it just covers everything you want in a business hotel very well... More

We were here at Tet, which is Lunar New Year, and the street in front of the hotel was closed to all vehicles because it had been decorated with trees, flower displays, chinese dragons, and every kind of Ox in flowers ,wood or metal. It was the heart of the celebration. Yet despite that, the interior of the hotel was... More

This was my first time in Ho Chi Minh City (hereafter referred to as "Saigon" because that's what the locals still call it - and it's much shorter to type) and I stayed at the Duxton on the recommendation of a local Vietnamese friend. The hotel, part of the Australian-owned Duxton chain, is located very centrally and within easy walking... More

The Duxton was a peaceful oasis nestled in the middle of the madness of Ho Cho Minh City at Tet. The hotel is well located - a three minute walk to the river, and a three minute walk to a number of bars, restaurants, and a multitude of art galleries! The staff were courteous, friendly and helpful, and all spoke... More

Great location. Breakfasts were excellent, one of the best we've ever had. Rooms were ok but view was over a building site. Service was reasonable only for this grade of hotel, had better service in a small US$45.00 per night in Hanoi. Facilities were very good though, pool and gym were new.

Would recommend this hotel, was in a fantastic location. Only stayed there for 2 days. The rooms were immaculate and the breakfast was amazing. We also had a buffet dinner at the hotel which was excellent. The swimming pool is a lap pools not too big but enough for a dip

We stayed here for 5 nights in October and we really enjoyed our stay. Overall I think we got very good value staying at this hotel, we got a good deal via [-] The hotel was in a nice spot, several nice restaurants nearby and a stones throw from the busiest part of Dong Khoi with even more restaurants and... A great location for a short stay (3 days) in Ho Chi Minh City. Our whole experience was extremely positive. The staff were very friendly and most helpful and were always prepared to go that extra step. Whenever it was raining or wet weather threatened there were umbrellas available for the guests to take with them. I took the wrong... More
