During my trip last month in HCM, I have spent 02 nights to stay at Duxton Saigon Hotel located in 63 Nguyen Hue street. It's valuable and I was so impressed of their services. At this moment, Nguyen Hue street is closed by Government but I still can reach hotel easily with their full instructions. I stayed at Club Single... More

My wife and I stayed at the Duxton as part of a private 10 day tour of Vietnam. It is a good international standard hotel with very friendly staff who all seem to speak very good english. Room, services etc were just as you would expect. A new metro is being constructed in Saigon so the street immediately outside is... More

Had room #625 in November 2014. the room was ok but pretty outdated and outworn. The view outside the window was facing towards a wall which was 0.5m away. The bathroom was kind of unhygenic and the blanket of the bed was a "multi-layer" construction, which I have seen last time in Croatia right after the war. Just not appropriate... More

we only had 3 nights here, but it was very neat and clean. The staff were helpful and the room was a good size. It was unfortunate that there were construction works the full length of the road at the front of the hotel, but this is a temporary issue and when finished it should be beautiful.

It started out with an ominous sign when our cab – at 11:30 PM was stopped dead in its tracks at a blind side alley 150 meters from the hotel entrance. But not to worry – though the city public works department is making huge improvement project in front of the hotel the staff came to our rescue carrying our... More

I actually stayed at the Duxton in September 2013 but realized I had not yet written review. I spent my first 2 nights of my Vietnam FAM at this hotel and was quite happy with it! The location is great, very walkable to lots of great stores and cafes/restaurants/bars. The service and staff were excellent and the room was clean... More

where to start... yes, the other reviews aren't lying or exaggerating - the roadworks directly outside the hotel are huge and disruptive. Not only do the drills and cranes operate 24/7 and our front facing room heard the construction all night - but it made the fantastic location of the hotel itself redundant as you need to walk over a... Stayed here for 4 nights as the first leg of a Voyages Jules Verne Grand Tour of Indo-China. Lovely hotel, superbly managed, spotlessly clean & very helpful & friendly staff. The outside is currently spoilt by the development of a pedestrianised street, but should be very nice when it's finished in late Spring 2015.

My tour group stayed at the Duxton 3 weeks ago. It is a well maintained older hotel with friendly staff and a great breakfast buffet. There are just a couple of negatives. Firstly, the beds are hard. Secondly, the street in front of the hotel is torn up for construction of a subway line. Throughout the night, the drilling and... More

I would definitely consider staying here again, it wasn't the greatest, but the staff were lovely and helpful, the rooms clean, and it's in a really good location (most attractions are within walking distance). Good restaurants and eating options nearby. We didn't eat at the hotel. Just a few things kept this hotel from being a standout: there was a... More
