The Duxton is a very good hotel within walking distance of everything you want to see in busy Ho Chi Minh City. The rooms and bathrooms are large and comfortable. The breakfast has a good choice and is very good. Didn't eat in the restaurant for other meals as we like to get out. In any case it was very... More

We stayed for 3 days. The hotel is in a fantastic location, unfortunately as other reviewers have said, the building/construction immediately outside the hotel is very offputting. We were dropped off around the corner, and the hotel staff were there to meet us, and escort us through, somehow they also managed to get the luggage too! Our room was at... More

Stayed 5 nights March 2015-great Hotel -renovation of the street outside not their issues but still got a note from Sales Director apologizing for inconvenience-they did not have my reservation on arrival but Duty Manager handled well -was on Club floor -(room fine apart from stupid control panel by the bed(old technology) and taps going opposite ways -hot and cold... Really good central location in District 1 makes it an ideal base to see the main attractions like the Central Post Office, Notre Dame Cathedral, the Opera House and City Hall, which are all within a reasonable walking distance. Unfortunately at the time of visit there is a major redevelopment of the boulevard outside the hotel which is being made... More

We stayed three nights in this beautiful hotel in the middle of Saigon. The only downside to our visit was the street works immediately outside that meant walking over rubble to get to the hotel. However, don't let that put you off as the rooms are spacious and comfortable and the food delicious. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

I travelled to Ho Chi Minh in Feb this year and stayed at the Duxton Hotel. There were major roadworks right in front of the hotel when we arrived however our taxi driver was aware of this and dropped us as close to the hotel as he could and then helped to carry our bags to the hotel lobby -... We arrived at the Duxton via a side road due to the construction of a new pedestrian area which unfortunately is running a little behind. In reception after checking in we were shown to the bar and offered a complementary drink which although early was very welcome. The hotel and staff were amazing I am a very light sleeper and... Stayed for 5 nights. However It was a shame that all the construction was happening out the front which made it a little difficult to navigate around. I checked the hotel website before we booked which indicated that the construction out the front will be completed by feb15 but when we arrived we were in the thick of it. Location... More

We apologise that our website did not update that the road access has been delayed. The project started last October and its nearing completion according to the latest media report. We appreciate your constructive feedback and will certainly address them accordingly. Thank you for staying with us. We look forward to your visit again to Saigon. Best regards, Rosy More

Noisy, tired, food average at best. A real disappointment by comparison with hotels we stayed in in Hanoi, Hue and Hoi An. The staff were polite and helpful, a bonus which should not be overlooked, but the total package was probably more suited to business customers than holiday makers. I am really surprised to read the positive comments from other... More
