My wife and I stayed at the Duxton for 10 days in August 2014. We have just finalized our 2015 asian holiday. This time we will be holidaying from Hanoi, Da Nang and finally Ho Chi Minh City. In light that we stayed at the Duxton during our last trip made it easy to choose to stay there once again.... More

This is a very nice hotel. The rooms are clean and spacious and have a nice large window with heavy black out curtains. Beds are firm and have decent pillows. Rooms have free bottled water and tea and coffee, robe and slippers, hairdryer, mini bar, flat T.V., A/C and a safe. Bathroom has plenty toiletries, the shower is over a bath... More

This is a conventional hotel. There is contruction on the wide avenue infront due to be finnished in February. It seems mainly to be a businessmans hotel. Central, convenient to most things. Opera house in walking distance, better when contruction finnished. Beautiful building. Worth a visit and tickets reasonable. More an american type city. Not like northern Vietnam. Went to... More

We found this a high quality hotel with rooms to a very good specifications and all the facilities you would expect of a major city hotel. The staff were exellent throughout and faciliated a late room departure for us without problem or additional cost (how refreshing!). Could not fault the hotel but the one big down side was out of... During my trip last month in HCM, I have spent 02 nights to stay at Duxton Saigon Hotel located in 63 Nguyen Hue street. It's valuable and I was so impressed of their services. At this moment, Nguyen Hue street is closed by Government but I still can reach hotel easily with their full instructions. I stayed at Club Single... More

My wife and I stayed at the Duxton as part of a private 10 day tour of Vietnam. It is a good international standard hotel with very friendly staff who all seem to speak very good english. Room, services etc were just as you would expect. A new metro is being constructed in Saigon so the street immediately outside is... More

Had room #625 in November 2014. the room was ok but pretty outdated and outworn. The view outside the window was facing towards a wall which was 0.5m away. The bathroom was kind of unhygenic and the blanket of the bed was a "multi-layer" construction, which I have seen last time in Croatia right after the war. Just not appropriate... More

we only had 3 nights here, but it was very neat and clean. The staff were helpful and the room was a good size. It was unfortunate that there were construction works the full length of the road at the front of the hotel, but this is a temporary issue and when finished it should be beautiful.

It started out with an ominous sign when our cab – at 11:30 PM was stopped dead in its tracks at a blind side alley 150 meters from the hotel entrance. But not to worry – though the city public works department is making huge improvement project in front of the hotel the staff came to our rescue carrying our... More

I actually stayed at the Duxton in September 2013 but realized I had not yet written review. I spent my first 2 nights of my Vietnam FAM at this hotel and was quite happy with it! The location is great, very walkable to lots of great stores and cafes/restaurants/bars. The service and staff were excellent and the room was clean... More
