Metropole hotel for his category is very good and comfortable...affordable price! We really enjoy the amenities of the hotel such as massage, swimming pool and specially the breakfast! The hotel isnot that far to main activities, and after a good walk, the pool is nice with apero for resting!

It was so nice to check in here after a long flight and immediately feel ourselves relax - a charming building, beautifully comfortable room, and stylish without being overwhelming or trying too hard. The breakfast buffet is stunning, especially the noodles and the array of interesting juices (go for the lime and lemongrass if it's there!). Pool too small for... More

We stayed here for two nights. The room was a bit small but was yet comfortable. The hotel staff was very helpful. Great value for money. Location isn't the best. Not much was within walking distance and we had to take cabs to get around town.

This is a beautiful hotel with a lot of history which is in excellent condition. There is a historic wing and newer section called "opera wing". We stayed in the historic wing. The room was very comfortable, the hotel is beautifully decorated. The beds are extremely comfortable. The food was wonderful, as was the service. Drinks at the inside bar... More

Absolutely worth a visit. Comfortable rooms, great staff, well placed. Food was excellent. Could not give higher recommendation. Our room was in the new wing. Close to french quarter and old town / market area.

Stayed here a few years ago it is a comfortable hotel in a good location. We used the Sinh Cafe buses. There are Sinh cafes everwhere, we booked a tour to the Chu Chi tunnels and to the Mekong (these buses were extremely cheap comfortable and reliable). We also used the Sinh buses to go to Halong Bay and travelled... More

Our first stop for the 21 day trip. Set the standard of what to expect. great hotel like a step back in time but with all the bangs and whistles. Sadly missed the tunnels.

We enjoyed a very pleasant check-in process. Our names were on a board welcoming us to the hotel - we felt very special. The check-in staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was quite spacious and we had a view of a busy cross section of traffic. Ho Chi Minh City is well known for its traffic - organised... More

Not to forget what colonial style means! Being back in time and feel what luxury life was meaning at that time. Everything is of good level and room of high comfort. Service, as it is often in Asia is perfect and everybody pay attention to your comfort. We tried traditional massage in our room. As soon as finished we felt... More

I stayed in the 'new wing'. Most beautiful room ever! Gym was busy and a bit too small, pool was crowded but lovely.
