My wife and I stayed at the Hotel Majestic for four days this past summer. The building was architecturally impressive and offers a rare glimpse into the Saigon of yesteryear. Although by no means competively priced (when compared with other options in Vietnam) we found the rate reasonable for the room and services provided. We found the property well maintained... More

It's hard to fault anything n particular about the hotel; staff are efficient and prepared, if not particularly eager, to help, and the public areas really are redolent of the 1930s, but there is something slightly missing. It's all just a bit soulless, somehow. Next time I would be inclined to try the VContinental of the Rex, both of which... More

We were met at the airport by hotel staff and escorted to a white mercedes, very impressive, we felt like royalty! A bit expensive at $30 for the 50 minute transfer but we thought it was worth it to avoid the hassle of negotiating a taxi after our long flight. A nice touch having checkin in our room rather than... More

This hotel had a great old world feel to it. It was quite expensive by Vietnam standards but still a great stay. Had a room overlooking the river in the old section. The room was very big and had everything you needed, including a basket of fresh fruit daily. The pool was a little small and the staff appeared putout... More

I was a little disappointed with this hotel and thankfully only had one night here. The location is excellent and the lobby is beautiful, the rooms are clean although a little on the small side. We had booked and prepaid for 3 rooms but 3 of our party changed their plans last minute - we had requested 2 rooms to... More

I reallyliked this hotel. The mix of modern and old world charm is perfect. The views from the roof top bars are fabulous. The breakfast buffet is very good, though I thought that the restaurants were quite pricey but there are many places nearby. Also, the spa is very expensive compared to other places around and not any better. More

We stayed here for several nights in december 2011, and January 2012. The hotel was extremely comfortable and well run. We had both old and modern rooms, older ones have less street noise. The suite on the 1st floor is double glazed and beautiful. Wonderful breakfasts on 5th floor patio. Nice pool area. More

first impression 5 star, but: first night we had a room with an oversized bad (could accomodate 4 people ?!) leaving very little space to move.A blend of noise from the airconditioner engine on the balcony just below the window and a wedding on the floor above ( from 11 am to 10 pm ) and a bearthday party on the... Beautiful hotel at the Dong Khoi end of the street across from the river. Check-in was very professional with personal intro to our room and it's amenities. Room had a balcony with a view over the main street and river. Noise was not a problem for us as the two doors kept the traffic to a hum and the occasional... More

We only spend 1 night at this hotel but it was great, we booked 2 rooms with double beds in and they up graded us to a suit which was amazing. It had 3 tv's and 4 couches 2 bathrooms and lots more. It was an amazing experiance and gave us a whole new perspective of Saigon. Breakfast was on... More
