I once stayed here about 5 years ago on Business, and this time I took my wife for a quick visit to Ho Chi Minh City. Still a great Hotel. OK, not cheap by Vietnam standards, but still well worth it in my mind. The room was great, the staff outstanding and the open air buffet dinner (about $42 /... More

Very nice historical hotel in HCMC. The staff were helpful in all ways. They organised us a bespoke day trip to Cu Chi and Mekong Delta that I can highly recommend. The rooms were nice enough however the pool is really small

The hotel may date from the 1920s but rooms, service and décor impeccably comfortable. Our room was large & cool, with a huge comfortable bed and excellent bathroom. We particularly liked the rooftop bar, which is pleasantly breezy with a great view of Saigon and serves a large range of cocktails. Staff friendly and helpful. Plenty of cheaper options in... More

This was very disappointing. I'd booked this because, to me it's a historic hotel in the centre of Saigon, right by the river, with a history. Straight away the attitude of the check in staff was one of indifference. The room was ok - except for the smell of damp! M Bar on the top floor has a very good... More

This landmark hotel is located on the most posh street of Saigon, down by the riverfront and is an ideal setting for any city visitor. The decor is art deco 1960's and needs some refreshing. The lobby is grand and imposing, they have full valet and concierge services. Old world style and finesse is still evident here with umbrellas provided... More

This was another great place to stay while in Ho Chi Minh. It was central to a lot of things and right across the road from the Saigon river. The bar prices a bit on the high side for the average customer but there are plenty of good bars well within walking distance. There are also a number of restaurants... More

We have stayed in this hotel twice now in a suite. The suite is huge, seperate living room, huge bedroom, study area and huge bathroom with spa bath. All decked out in colonial furniture. It has 2 balconies that over look the river which are great to watch life in Saigon go by. The breakfast is in the roof top restaurant and... More

Rooftop bar was great to sit and watch the world go by. Excellent location for main sights. Most walkable but taxis in saigon are extremely cheap. Pool small but adequate to... More

A colonial, almost Art Deco, style hotel in a great location by the river. Perhaps in need of some updating if this is achievable without changing the character of the hotel. The suite room was generous in size with good facilities. The view from the roof terrace bar was beautiful. A central convenient location for exploring the city.
