I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Ho Chi Minh City. The room was spacious and comfortable with nice views of the Saigon River. The staff were helpful. The breakfast was really nice in a lovely setting. My only disappointment was the pool area...whilst it was nice, it got limited direct sun. The rooftop bar is also an added... More

As soon as we arrived at the Hotel Majestic we knew we had booked the right hotel. Check in was easy and welcoming. All staff were very friendly and wanted to help as much as they could, they even made sure we had enough water, soap etc for the morning of checkout. The buffet breakfast was nice and filling with... We arrived just after midday and bearing in mind this holiday had been booked for almost 6 months I was very disappointed to be told that our room was not ready and that we would have to wait an hour! We had been up and travelling since 6am including a flight so I was not impressed. The staff all seem... More

Out of the all the hotels in our trip to Vietnam and Cambodia, this is the hotel we were dreading the most based on previous reviews, but the hotel itself was better than expected. The room was one of the smaller ones we had, but still good, and the bathroom was huge in comparison. Our room overlooked the pool, so... More

I stayed in Colonial deluxe river view room. it was a room full of character and very comfortable. Great view overlooking river .Enjoyed very good service ,especially reception. Food is priced high compared to Hanoi hotels. Avoid their Vietnamese restaurant Cyclo. Food disappointing. Breeze sky bar is a must. Fabulous view over city. Wonderful rooftop drinks.Should have just stayed there... More

Were upgraded to the President's Suite on 2 occasions, stayed several nights. Old world charm and great service. Breakfast on level 5 in the outdoors provided a fantastic view of the river. Wonderful to retreat into this haven, away from the bustle and chaos of Saigon traffic.

I stayed here over the lunar new year and it was a wonderful experience. Our room was huge by modern standards with tall ceilings and gorgeous mahogany trim. They put fresh fruit in our room every day, plus the usual coffee, tea, etc. The breakfast buffet is in an open outdoor area on the 5th floor with an amazing view... More
