Normally I stay at the Legend and this time stayed at the Majestic. The Legend is more modern and spacious while the Majestic has that classic feel. I was lucky enough to have a room overlooking the pool with an ‘outside’ entrance overlooking the interior patio/pool. While both are nice, I think I’ll stay at the Majestic next time if... More

After a fortnight of travelling around Vietnam and being constantly surprised and delighted by each hotel we stayed in, our last few days were spent in the Majestic Saigon - our most expensive hotel by far - and unfortunately we ended on a low note. The room was spacious and had everything we needed - but there was an overriding... More

Stunning Hotel with the old charm! Once you walk into the exquisite hotel lobby you know you are somewhere special. The staff were quickly at your service and nothing was any trouble. The bars had wonderful cocktails, and a fun Philippino band entertained us nightly! Yes the furnishings and other things around the hotel are old and not up to... More

It so happened that I stayed at the Majestic twice in one week - once as part of a small delegation and then six days later on individual business. The experiences were quite different - for the former, my room was spacious, comfortable and reasonably priced. For the latter, booked on line, it cost about $30 more per night, was... More

Hotel a real disappointment. Apart from the lobby, the hotel has clearly seen better days. Rooms are over furnished, and the first impression is not wanting to walk on the floor or rugs without shoes. Beds, you can feel someone has been there before. Both of mine were filled with bed bugs. Breakfast, only fruit and yogurt worth eating. Only... More

We didn't stay, just popped in a for a quick cold drink. We went to the top garden bar which was great, unfortunately the drinks were quite warm, not sure we would return for that cold drink. nonetheless the staff was great and we had great river views!

It's the oldest hotel in Saigon, and draws on history and its colonial architecture. The view looking up into the skies from the pool is a trip back in time. The view today is the same from 1920. The beauty and decor is understated and very elegant. However, it falls short of five-star hotel standards and is no longer deserving... More

Beautiful hotel with a really historíc and colonial feel. We booked a colonial suite which was massive and very comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful with lots of choice served on rooftop restaurant. Pool is modest and very deep but typical of city centre hotel. Location good . Ate at the tempest club restaurant nearby which was a fantastic experience with delicious... More

Really great rooms, lots of space and good bed. Balcony was a little cramped with no room to sit, only room for 2 standing. However, well worth spending time out on the balcony watching the mayhem that is Saigon's endless motorbike cavalcade. Awesome to behold. Great view of the river too just 30 yards across the road. Staff nice, breakfast... More

The Majestic Saigon Hotel takes you back to another era. The gorgeous art deco foyer with stunning lights and gorgeous windows transports you back to the 1920’s. Check in is most efficient with Fleur escorting us to our room explaining all the hotel facilities as we went. The hotel has an old and new wing and we stayed in a... More
