Really loved this hotel. It's in a great location on the Saigon River. Hotel has a lot of history and beautiful colonial style, lots of timber, parquetry floors. Service was excellent especially checking in and out. Very large rooms. Stayed here twice in both older and newer sections. Both are great. Only disappointment this time was the pool closed for... A Grand Old Hotel very well located. was likely a gem once but has not seen an update in the rooms for several years. Roof deck breakfast was nice and if you like coffee service, it was always available. Pool was nice although not well signed. Rooms were the weak spot. Showers were poor, beds not so comfie. if you... More

Enjoyed our short stay .Every important tourist interest site is walking distance .We had a river facing room with balcony and it was awesome both during the day and the night when cruises pass through the river The restrurant on the ground floor serves excellent Vietnamese food .the lobby level coffee shop is a great place to unwind after walking... If in Saigon stay here it is my favourite hotel. It is central and walking distance to most major shops. The staff are very attentive and it brings back the old world charm. Crossing the road can be a bit tricky

The hotel majestic is a nice hotel in a great area of Saigon. It's a block from the new square and at night the square is full of people watching the fountains and selling glow toys. The hotel was older but kept up ok. At first it's pretty much like a giant maze (the hotel) but after a couple days... More

We spent two nights in the majestic hotel during our honeymoon. We arrived late night and the employees were friendly and helpful. Our room was really good. The facilities were good and comfortable. We got fresh fruits and two chocolate. The fitness room had good equipments but unfortunately the pool was under construction. It is a pity because we booked... More

Totally gorgeous hotel that has been well maintained. It's not a modern 'cookie cutter' hotel. It's filled with character and charm. The staff were so very helpful and friendly, always happy to meet whatever requirement I had (more clothes hangers, change money to smaller denominations etc) Our every need was attended too. It was wonderful to step inside the magnificent... More

I am surprised that this is not a five star, maybe we had the perfect room! Building is architecturally beautiful with an early 20th century charm throughout. The staff were professional, probably a little less seriousness and a few more smiles would have been better but this did not impart the experience. Centrally located with easy access to restaurants and... More

I called ahead to confirm absolutely without question that the swimming pool would be open our entire stay as I've had this problem once before. Yes, yes it will be open. The whole time? Yes the whole time. Today: the pool is closed for water filtration today until July 5! They offered a voucher for the hotel cross the street.... More

Wonderful old world Hotel. Full of history - it fulfills its role as a modern hotel, but does it with style and grace and charm. The pool setting is delightful on the first floor, although noise reverberates around the atrium, so children would find it quite an auditorium. The breakfast choices are excellent and the outdoor/indoor setting works very well... More
