I recently stayed at the Grand Hotel Saigon, I happened to be there on my birthday. Had a nice surprise at breakfast, they presented me with a cake and sang Happy Birthday to me. Also after a hectic day out in the city got back to find a lovely bouquet of flowers in my room from them. Just want to... More

The Grand Hotel is well located. It dates from 1930 and so refects the beauty of art nouveau ... though, of course, it has been completely updated. Service is good. Rooms attractive and comfortable. Breakfast buffet is extensive though the food is not extraordinary. All in all I would recommend.

The Grand's major remodeling and expansion has left it feeling like what it is; a group tourist and conference hotel on the main drag in Saigon. It has an excellent location, close to the river and on Dong Kho Street but lacks warmth. Rooms are adequate and quiet, a/c works well, and the hotel is well maintained. The breakfast buffet... We stayed at this hotel at the end of our stay in Vietnam and we were not disappointed. The rooms were very elegant and had everything required. The staff friendly and quite elegant surroundings. It had a lovely courtyard pool and bar area and the rooftop bar was spectacular. I will definitely stay at this hotel again. Excellent! The best... More

We stayed for three nights. I had read on trip advisor that renovations were taking place so we asked for a quite room away from the noise. We had a lovely room on the 16th floor. Bed was the most comfortable in our whole trip. The amenities in the hotel are top notch. A sanctuary away from the chaos of... More

Hotel is located very centrally and is very convenient for all District 1 attractions, bars and restaurants. The rooms in the new West Wing are very well finished and the beds comfortable. Restaurant on 20th floor together with rooftop bar afford a great view of Saigon and the river. Service was very good. Breakfast was also fairly well put together.

From the minute our car drove up to this hotel, we had excellent service. Our room was on the 5 th floor (1503 & 1504), right across from the lifts but you couldn't hear them. Bed was reasonable soft. My daughter and I had manicure and pedicures in the hotel itself, even though you did feel like you were in... More

Overall a pleasant place to stay.We spent two nights here. Rooms were clean and spacious and service was polite and efficient. The 20th floor bar was a great place for a light meal and a drink while listening to and extremely good band. Nice way to finish a busy day. We have one major problem with the hotel., a couple... Let me explain......and I hope we were just unlucky as the hotel itself is in a good location and as a building mixed old with new. The bar on the 20th floor also had superb views of the city and river. However we stayed here for 2 nights and encountered an extreme level of building work going on in the... More

Had a 2 night stay at the Grand Hotel at the beginning of a spectacular 2 week tour of Vietnem and Cambodia with APT. Staff very professional, very pleasant, speak excellent English and make you feel welcome as soon as you wlk through the door. The hotel is ideally placed to shops, the river and is an easy tuk tuk... More
