I liked this hotel, as it is different from many more modern hotels; it is one of the older hotels in Ho Chi Minh City with a history, which sadly is becoming neglected. Right now the hotel is very good but I can see it could become a little seedy if it is neglected. One half of the hotel was... More

I like everything in this hotel : location , rooms , servive, wifi connection and the fact that unlike in some of the "huge" 5 stars hôtels in the city and very near the hotel , the size does not make you feeel like you are a small piece in a big industrial machine . Bread and pastries at kfast... More

Excellent location in the heart of the city. Room was luxurious and excellent. Take camera when visiting the roof top bar see the 360 degree views. Breakfast is huge area with all you can eat feast and staff ready to cook omelettes (I prefer butter instead of vegetable oil when making omelette). Swimming pool had too much chlorine.

This hotel is located near the Mekong river and close to many attractions. Request a room on a higher floor so that you can enjoy the views! Alternatively, visit the roof top bar and restaurant. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, well appointed and very clean. WiFi connections were good everywhere in the hotel. Staff were courteous and attentive to requests.... More

Colonial hotel that has been fully refurbished with excellent rooms. Breakfast buffet is very good. Staff friendliness and efficiency noted. Upgrade to suite unfortunately wasted on me as a sole traveller. Pleasant shaded pool area. Public areas on ground floor could have better facilities such as a bar

Established in 1930 this used to be a small, tired hotel. Not anymore. I have been staying there since 2010 and in that time they have built a new wing and completely rennovated it and re-designed reception and the whole of the ground floor. Now... it is a very nice hotel with small but nice swimming pool, plenty of places... More

We stayed at the Grand on the recommendation of friends who stayed a year ago. We believe that we stayed in the old part of the hotel and the room was beautiful - parquet floors and very spacious. There were not many electrical outlets but still enough to charge everything we needed. The breakfast buffet was excellent with some changes... More

The new part of the hotel may be fine but woe betide you are put in the old side of the hotel. The room was not big enough to swing a cat in--no electrical sockets--kettle but with no-where to plug it in--poor lighting and no amenities whatsoever.Street noise could be heard as no double glazing and as we were overlooking the... The hotel was built in 1830 but you would never know, they have combined old with new and works well. Staff are always happy to help and the spa treatments are to die for. Everything is close by, and the view from our window was fantastic. Make it your number one stay when in HCMC..

We stayed here 3N and were lucky to be upgraded to a Junior Suite. The staff are wonderful and all very good at their jobs. It's a beautiful hotel in a perfect location right by the river and with plenty of restaurants close by. Do visit Hoa Tuc and BBQ Garden (both reviewed on TA). Our room was spacious with... More
