Excellent Hotel, nice and clean with friendly staff. We stayed in an Elegant internal room because we didn't want to hear early morning traffic, light thru the window or the heat, the romm selection was spot on. We stayed on level 10 under the restaurant, the only downside was the water pressure in the shower, it was poor. If you... more

My boyfriend and I enjoyed our stay there, and even got free massage tokens upon check in. We went down on our first day to redeem them and all was fine. However, on our third day I was unwell, and my boyfriend went down to have a massage alone, only to be offered a "happy ending massage". The so-called "massage... more

Alright, let me give you the real story. Saigon Tourist a joint stock company (but mostly controlled by the state) is the owner/operator of the Oscar Hotel. The big office for Saigon Tourist is less than a block away and it seemed to me that the staff there are some of the best in the Saigon Tourist organization. We checked-in... more

I stayed at this hotel on December 17 with my boyfriend. He is vietnamese from California, and had booked the room directly over the phone. When we arrived at noon, from a 25 hour journey, we were told that the room would not be available until 2pm. We didn't want to wait any longer. We were offered the option of... more

Just rtn from a 5D4N vacation to HCMC and stayed at Oscar Hotel. It was booked by our travel and we did not know what to expect. We did a check with TA and was a bit apprehensive initially. We arrived at the hotel at about 10.30 and was given our rooms immediately with no delay which was quite a... more

Had read previous reviews re this hotel and paid extra to ensure rooms with a window. Arrived at midnight from Sydney to be kept two hours and told firstly that our rooms had no windows then that the room was not available as someone was sick and had stayed on in the room. We then said we will just use... more

Great hotel in a very well located area. Stayed 2 weeks ago, 2 suites on the 2nd to top floor (restaurant above) great views, good buffet breakfast, all good. ANZ eftpos machine right outside, within walking distance of many sights, large shopping mall with supermarket just over the road more

We took a taxi from the airport to this hotel and immediately liked the neighborhood. When we checked in there was a problem with the room so they upgraded us to a suite. We changed back the next night to a normal room, just as nice but without the extra living room area. Both rooms were clean and the buffet... more

My partner and I stayed in this hotel for 3 nights during Christmas 2007. The complaint I wish to share with fellow travellers is as follows - and for me to complain on here is quite unusual - I'm pretty laid back! Upon checkin, we were informed that another guest in the hotel had decided to "stay another night" and... more
