Sofitel Saigon generally met our expectations of a five star hotel. The room was comfortable and the house keeping staff were responsive. Breakfast was great. Somehow, we did not feel the warmth and friendly service expected from the hotel staff (except for the Cafe staff). The other thing which may be an issue for the non business customer is the... More

The rooms are okay but the hotel needs to provide better training for it's Front Desk staff. I just checked out from the hotel today. The lady "Huong" who served me was outright rude. She mentioned that Sofitel is a 5 star hotel ... but if she continues to perform this way, she will definitely drag the reputation of the... More

Sofitel has what you need, if you want to relax in Ho Chi Minh City. Beside you are quite close to everything. The rooms are very comfortable in all aspects. Two restaurants where you can start the day with all choice of food and sparkling wine and end your day with a nice sea food buffet or a la carte.... More

While the rooms are good sized & the rooftop pool is very nice, the hotel has some major problems. The bathroom was shabby (damaged enamel in the tub & mold around the bath tub), as was the wall around the pool, which needed re-painting. The service in the Cafe at breakfast was slow and disorganized. A server came to our... More

This hotel is okay, but not one of the nicest Sofitels I've stayed in. The lobby is spacious and has two restaurants but the rooms are a little small and very average in their furnishings. The room I stayed in also had an odd frosted glass panel between the room and bathroom, so at night turning on the bathroom light... More

For tourists it might not be the best location, but on the other hand, we enjoyed get away from the busy midtown, and taxis are almost free (if you use the autorised taxis with a meter). We stayed in a prestige suite, worth the money, it includes clubaccess and the standard in the club is high. Epecially cocktailhour(s) with sushi,... More

Sofitel in Ho Chi Ming City accommodation was comfortable with service above par. We made sure to get the club lounge access and it was worth the extra cost. The attentive service and the benefits (internet access, printer, drinks and snacks) made a difference. More

I only stayed here because I could pay via A Club vouchers and I regret not staying somewhere else. The hotel everything you can expect from a luxury hotel but it has no Vietnamese feel inside or when you step outside. It is ideally placed for Western ventures like the British Council. It is perfect for people who would rather... More
