I wonder what some travelers expect? Powder puffs all the way? I read many articles regarding the Hoa Phat Hotel before we left home, some complained, "Oh. The trains are noisy, oh! the rooster, Oh! the temple." Oh Come on! We stayed at the Hoa Phat for seven nights. The train was in the distance, and not that often,(Hardly noticeable)... More

Our Son And new wife live close by so we said how bad can it be? answer pretty awful!!! it isn't a proper hotel as westerners would view it, it is way too Vietnamese for us guys, the room was excellent air/con large king, size bed, ensuite, so what am I complaining about. The restaurant does not exist when you... More

It was an fantastic stay with a group of 8 friends in 2 separate 2-bedroom apartments. Both rooms were clean, spacious and well-lit. The bathrooms were clean and fridge is working. Daily, the staff would clean up the rooms and they are people of integrity for we did not lose anything even though our belongings were strewn all over the... More

This is a great and friendly hotel, good staff and great price for what you get, it's fairly expensive when you first look but the rooms you get are very spacious and clean, you get a kitchen, lounge 2 bathrooms and 2 bedrooms, the pool is quite small but you can't really complain, the main issue with it is that... This is THE WORST hotel I've every been to! Services were terrible! Owner was uneducated and mean. Front desk employees were nice. Bathroom was disgusting - shower curtain bottom was brown and looked like it has been this way forever! Your body soap and shampoo are from nearly empty dispensers. If you are OK with sharing your shampoo with the... More

But having said that as per the previous reviews, its a lot further than we thought, a good 45-60 minutes taxi drive, and the highway is not yet constructed so there is a dirt road nad it is very confusing even for local taxi drivers. Staff are friendly and despite limited english did make our stay very good, they even... More

We stayed here as we wanted a little out of Hcm but still within taxi service area. We arrived at night so it was hard to see and the taxis found it hard to get through because of the roadworks but once we found it all was good. You can expect to pay no more than $280000d from airport, watch... More

We came here in a group of eight people. The pick up from the airport was for free and the breakfast was also included in the price. I don't know why the previous reviews are so bad, we were all happy with our stay. After a day in the city centre, it was really nice to come back to the... More

Having read some poor reviews on Trip Advisor we had very low expectations. However after visit, we believe this is a very nice hotel with very friendly and accommodating staff!! The main drawback is it is 20 -25 minutes with taxi from downtown district 1. Cost for taxi some 180 000 VND (appr 9 USD) so if you can manage... More
