I booked mix dormitory type room. The bathroom was dirty, the bed configuration was too cramped , i felt not really comfortable with that. Dining area and kitchen was not clean, there were a pile of empty plastic bottle at the corner like a dump which was making the scenery unpleasant. One more thing, when we check in, the receptionist... More

We stayed here for 4 nights and hated every minute of it. Upon arrival we were greeted by two very confused staff who seemed to have no idea what they were doing. We finally got to our dorm room only to find that all of the beds had been taken. After informing the staff it was determined that the beds... More

Booked this hostel for 2 nights. Went to the one with the pool table and everything, looked nice. BUT when we got they were full and told us we had to stay in the other one (same owners, same name) a 2minute walk away. This one was extremely dissapointing compared to the photos of the original one we were meant... More

If you are looking for kuxury, this great hostel is not for you. For everyone else, it's a great find. Great location & super friendly staff. We booked the double bed with en suite bath which provided privacy and was very quiet for sleep.

Stayed a total of 7 nights in SBH and enjoyed it very much. Staff is friendly, funny and helpful. Decent breakfast for those who can wake up before 10. Dorm rooms are comfortable, new and spacious. Air-con is KILLER! (Don't you kids get used to the heat while backpacking around SEA?) Never slept this well in a hostel dorm before... More

Staying in the hostel was pretty ok. Staff are friendly, nice common room with a selection of HD movies and comfy couch and a pool table. Common room can be a bit warm at times, but nothing unbearable in the scorching heat of Saigon. Dorm rooms are spacious, properly ventilated and cooled with AC and lockers are provided to fit... A real well located hostel in the party district, this backpackers was clean and full of friendly people. We had breakfast included which was nice, and the street behind the alleyway was great for some street food and to sit on the stools with scooters brushing past, great experience!

There are two hostels with the same name, and I can only assume most of the reviews here are for Saigon Backpackers @ Cong Quynh, which is about 100m away. When I walked into the 8 bed dorm, I thought the room was full because all the beds looked like someone had slept in them. The blankets were in a... More

All in all a reasonable place to stay in the city. We stayed in a double room, and this is what we thought: Things we liked: - Great location for bars and restaurants, they are in abundance on the two roads running abreast to the alley the hostel is situated in. - short walk from hanh/sinh cafe, which is useful... The rooms were clean and basic but new. The bathrooms were also really clean and we never had to line up which is always a plus. The Cafe below provided a set breakfast and also other tasty meals! A great hostel in a really good location.
