Me and my friends stayed at Golden wind for 3 nights at the end of our trip in Vietnam. We wanted to splurge and get something nice to finish off our holiday. Golden Wind turned out to be great value for money. At around $11 per person/per night, it was exactly what we were looking for. It was neat, clean,... More

Stayed here for 4 nights during our stay in Ho Chi Minh, it was reasonably priced but you really do get what you paid for. Our room was tiny but had all of the basic amenities, including hairdryer. The tv had some English speaking channels but really fuzzy with a bad reception. The only plugs we had were over at... More

Stayed for 4 nights in early July with two twenty year old sons - comfortable room and plenty of space (three single beds). Close to all attractions, museums etc, as well as Ben Thanh and Saigon square markets. Value for money and friendly staff. Bathrooms were a little dated but for the price there are complaints.

We stayed here for one night after our previous hotel next door had lost our reservation and overbooked. For $1 more we had a much nicer experience. The staff were so nice and helpful, rooms are clean, nice and quiet and location is great. Would stay here again.

We requested room with window after we learned that we might get one without it. Sure enough that we got the windowless room with leftover-superly rotten- ant infested fruits left by previous tourists, baby wipes and biscuits. Upgraded to a bigger double room with window but have to pay extra per night. We also experienced repeated power outage on Friday... More

In HCMC is quite easy find places to sleep at this price (20 USD in a double room) but I can say I liked stay here because it's clean, easy, good staff and perfect position if you want to book your daily trips!! Just ask for 219 alley and you'll find it.

First time visit HCMC, took the taxi to drive us to the hotel. A bit blank at the beginning cause of the new place, but no worry. Once the driver show you the alley, just walk around 2 minutes and you'll find the hotel. The hotel might look small, but all hotel nearby are quite the same with 5-7 storage... More

Hotel nice for 1-2 days stay. Not for long time. Decent location because it's near tourist area. We also had problem on electricity from morning till 5 in the afternoon on 3rd day of our stay. Breakfast is also nice. They also have decent wifi/internet connection.

Pros: There are two staff members (you will know who they are) who speak English well and are quite helpful (others struggle a bit)...they do try hard to compensate for problems (e.g. I was given a discount because a pipe burst the last night of my stay and I didn't feel like changing rooms); rooms are nice, with decent selection...
