Budget hotel. The room is clean and acceptable. The location is great, in the city centre near many bus stations, tourism agencies. The host are helpful. I stayed for 4 nights, on the second floor, in a room having a balcony. I think it is a bit noisy in the early morning.

Down a side alley, it's a quiet hotel which is good value for money. Pros: Staff are very friendly & flexible, traditional vietnamese breakfast, quiet location which is rare for touristy area & clean room. Cons: Rooms are quite basic, you have to order breakfast in your room each morning and there are no juices/coffee provided for breakfast and it's... More

Location is as previously mentioned 30 metres inside a small alley. I wouldn't call it shady, just a normal small alley. Anyhow was basic as expected but all okay. Great owner who book a taxi to go to Cu Chi tunnels and Wildlife station. She was very keen on giving us the right advice about what transportation to take even... More

We were booked into the Duxton for the previous week and I booked this room thinking it was an inexpensive day use for us while waiting for a red eye flight to Seoul. I wished we had stayed in the Huong Trinh Hotel the whole time. You walk in and the place is spotless, smelling of fresh laundry with lovely... More

The place is very hard to find and we were sketched out upon arrival when we had to walk down a dark alley to find the place. The hosts were extremely nice but the room (we paid extra for a balcony- mistake!) was a bit smelly, old and the sheets looked like they were still being used after 30 years.... More

We couldn't believe the service we received from the staff here - absolutely through the roof! These guys are excellent and really want you to feel at home and to have the best time in HCMC. We stayed here for 3 nights, and our room was cleaned everyday. The actual room lacks quite a bit in the aesthetics department but... More

When i first alighted the cab, Huong Trinh was nowhere in sight. My friends and i had to walk in this shady looking alley where the guesthouse supposedly was, which left me in disbelief for i was the one who was in charge of taking care of the group's accommodation. The road to Huong Trinh and its facade was definitely... More

I am a senior experienced world traveler who is picky about accommodations but not overly so. THIS IS AN ENIGMA - A BARE BONES LOOKING PLACE IN THE BACK OF A NARROW ALLEY. You think, "OMG, what have I done?" But it is spotless, charming , and the rooms are spotless and have many amenities. and it is QUIET, a... More

It is a b & b so dont expect fancy interiour or much of luxury. But you have a clean, nice room, your own bathroom, free wifi,...and the nicest people taking care of you. The owner was so lovely, we had a lot of changes before arrival and she was always understanding and patient. The staff are all smiles and... More
