If your a regular traveller to Vietnam or speak Vietnamese, this may be the hotel for you. It's in the Binh Than District and we were unable to find one English speaker in the area. This made it quite difficult to communicate with shopping or buying food. The hotel does have a restaurant but despite having Western food on the... More

My wife and I have been traveling through Southeast Asia for 7 months now (2 of those in Vietnam) so we have stayed in many hotels in many different surrounding countries.  Being that New Years is a special occasion, we decided to go outside of our budget and book something a little bit nicer than we normally would.  Upon arrival,... A comfortable and quiet place. About half an hour taxi drive from the centre in a local environment. Maybe a bid difficult if you don't have your own transport. Breakfasts very simple. Strong free wifi. Friendly and helpful staff. Stayed for 10 days but had to pay half a day for late check out.

I booked 3 nights at Faifoo Hotel via hotels dot com but had to change our stay to 2 nights. First I tried to do this via the hotels dot com website but was unable to, and also it was impossible to get a response from them (that's another review for later...). So I looked on their website and found... More

My stay went wrong from the beginning when instead of the pick up car requested at the airport, an employee guided me to the taxi-rank. He then got in the taxi and began an inappropriate conversation wanting a friendship so that he could show us around privately. The bathroom was filthy with mouldy areas. Upon checking out, the owner insisted... More

In a slightly remoter part of town, this hotel is perfect to get away from life, entry via a small side street is like going down a relaxing corridor, once arrived the tranquillity begins. HCM is a noisy vibrant town, this does not disappear, but the level quietens to allow a relaxing night. Staff friendly and attentive the room basic... More

Small Hotel in a tiny side street. Taxi driver had trouble finding it at first. Nice small bars in the neighbourhood -- something to eat is a little more difficult to find. Moto-taxi to the city is in-expensive. Atmopshere in the hotel is nice and clean. Only trouble that you have to leave your passport at the reception for one... More

inside there is a small elevator (for those who for that matter) I was traveling with a baby. we arrived with lots of luggage (car seat, baby stroller and a couple of suitcases) and the hotel kindly sent a staff member to meet me at the airport.

In a good meaning, I could feel that I am not in Saigon when I am in Faifoo Boutique Hotel. Rooms: Quite big, high water pressure hot shower, wide bed. All amenities are prepared. Decorated beautifully. Location: 20 minutes drive from airport, 20 minutes drive to city centre. There are some local restaurants and street vendors. But I couldn't find... More
