The rooms have no protection from the noise of Bui Vien Street so bring some ear plugs. The woman who seemed to be the only staff member was friendly, but she can't speak much English. The location is perfect and that is why we booked it, in the heart of the backpacker's district. It was relatively clean and had good... More

I didnt like this place. The older lady that works there is very unfriendly. She got angry at me when I didnt want to order another drink when I just finished my beer. She also constantly wants to move you around at night, to fill all space on her piece of the sidewalk. Very anoying when you are in a... More

Filthy and full of ants. Location ok for nightlife but that is literally it. Staff not very helpful an not really interested in anything apart from selling beer or drinks. Toilet did not work, stains on the bedding, room looked like it hadn't been cleaned!

This place was okay for a night. The room was clean, the bed was big, lots of channels on tv, mini fridge worked, and lots of hot water. However, the fridge had a very bad smell, the remote controls didn't work, and my a/c did not work even though I went to the front desk and asked them about it.... More

I booked two rooms here, one for me and one for my elderly father. On arrival the huge party in the street made us realise that this wasn't going to be suitable for my father (for me it was perfect!). Hanh, the manager offered my father a room in another hotel around the corner where it was a lot quieter... More

Nice and affordable guesthouse in the middle of bui vien street. All sights in walking distance Downstairs they have a `bar` which is nice&busy at night. Travel agencies, restaurants nearby. Not quiet at night. The place helps you book tours, staff speaks some English. A perfect place for meeting other packpackers and get the spirit of Ho Chi Minh city.

We didn't stay at the guesthouse but I can imagine that it is as good as described from the welcome we received from the lady owner and her family. Sitting in street outside sharing a "bucket of gin" and watching the world go by was one of the many highlights of Saigon. Not a real bucket of course, just a large... More

Hanh, the younger lady, was very nice. Excellent place for backpackers as there is drinking party every night along Bui Vien. Hostel building is relatively new and we had a comfy stay. We had the big room with window which was really nice but wifi works only along the stairs (and inner rooms i guess). We also booked tours from... More

Arrived here around 6am they allowed us to get into a room to sleep after a long train journey, 6 hours prior to check in. We then moved rooms around 11 o'clock which was nice of the staff, clean spacious rooms, hot shower, no window so be sure to set an alarm haha!! The staff sleep downstairs on camp beds... More

I booked last minute and was not expecting too much for the price I was paying. But unbelievably the rooms, service and location were great. Thanks to hanh for being very helpful and organizing my cab to the airport.
