We were on a budget tour so didn't expect first class accomodation but the tour began here and we were quite concerned as to what we had gotten ourselves in for when we got here. Thankfully this was the worst of our accomodation to come. From the outside and reception area it looks promising, but not so. The room was... More

The hotel has a good location within busy Saigon because it is so close to ATM's, local cafe's and restaurants and the main indoor market, which turns into a night market outside on the streets, late at night. Although it is a small hotel with small rooms that have no windows, the rooms were clean and adequate, however the showers... More

I'm not sure if I would stay here again but for it's location I might. It's a 3 star budget hotel conveniently located on Le Thanh Ton street which is a short walk to Ben Thanh market. There's loads of restaurants and cafes nearby and a mini mart next door. There's also an ATM in front of the hotel. The... More

Came with Intrepid, and as it's a budget tour I wasn't expecting too much, I'm used to and happy with basic facilities. That said.... The air con is on.. And you can't change it without getting reception to throw a breaker switch. Fine. However the stairs, the only fire exit, are cluttered all the way down six floors with furniture,... More

We came to Hong Thien Loc 2 with a geckos tour (geckos should probably not use this hotel) - they quoted us less than $1 per kilo of clothing washed. They charged us close to $10 for 2.5 kilos - I'm no mathematician, but something doesn't add up. They also weighed the clothes in front of us and it came... More

After a long journey it was great to put our bags down somewhere. The place is tiny, but had a lift to help with the bags upto the higher floors. Although as you walk up and down the floors the stairwells and covered in staff sleeping on landings or towels and toilet paper, a bit of A trip hazard! Fine... More

For about $30 a night, you can't expect something like the holiday in where their rooms start at $60 in the states. Remember, you are in Vietnam and you can not drink their tap water or even brush your teeth under the sink water. If you want something of better standards, you're better off paying in the $100~ I found... More

Single rooms in this place are terrible. I was booked on a tour and arrived a day early & was put in a tiny windowless box, not a great introduction to Vietnam. Double rooms are better, still a bit small. There was free internet and it was in a great location close to many late night restaurants. When going to... More

The hotel advertises as 3 star but the rooms were nowhere near it.. Beds had bugs crawling about, very poor bathroom facility's, stayed for 3 nights as pre booked but breakfast was only included for 1 morning which was no loss, wasn't the best and they have a charge of 100000-1500000 if you don't clear you plate which I found... Sometimes reading bad reviews prepares you for the worst!! My experience was functioning wifi, included breakfast as I booked through hotels.com, friendly staff, helpful porters, many TV changed and a few in English, a pretty comfy bed, a cold fridge, AC that worked, and an elevator. You don't always get these things in budget hotels in Asia!! They've tried to... More
