I have placed my booking few weeks prior to my arrival and was suprises to have received the owner's response welcoming me. As such I confirmed my booking. My suprise subsided after I checked in. My stay was ok and room is fairly priced. I skipped my breakfast after trying it once. Hotel's lobby takes you back in time.

Read many of the reviews here and more often are NOT happy. For some reason I still gave it a chance and booked anyways for 1 night. NOW I KNOW WHY its getting more complaints than good. Service is absolutely horrendous. #1- I asked for a large bed with additional bath towels in my booking reservations. I enter my room... More

The New Pacific Hotel where we stayed from the 12 to 14 of January 2015 is not new by any standard is very tired, dirty and old. I regretfully paid RM160.00 per night. The whole hotel is very dimly lit at night, including its facade. There is a run down non functional fountain in front. Only 2 out of 8 lights... More

When I knew that I have to go to District 03 for business trip, I was afraid of finding a good hotel to stay. I checked and found New Pacific Hotel but the reviews are not quite good. However, I still booked one Junior Suite room for 02 nights and I totally surprised. Hotel's location is so convenient for me... More

The rooftop was not as accessible as described, dishes are poor, there is a noisy bar just near that gave us trouble to sleep (and we were at the 8th floor!). A lot of people to serve you but they don't know how to do... It seems to have been a beautiful hotel in 30's, furnitures are awesome and and... More

I stayed one night there and the room was bad. There was such bad experience with massage service when she asked to do extra service. I rejected it. She insisted more money with bad massage service. Bad experience.

I was glad we got this hotel for a bargain price just as a stop gap before we jumped on the train the next day - four stars would be an exaggeration. The front desk staff did want to take our passports but we insisted on getting them back due to an early checkout and we were glad we did... More

I stayed here one night December 2013. Very noisy, could hear all neighboring activity. Bathroom downright unsafe: slick tile on floor, slippery tub with no mat or grab bar, raised threshold in bathroom doorway. Our co-traveler (in another room) tripped on his and bloodied both his forearms. There is a "tea service' in room which I used with the instant... More

They might claim whatever they want but this is not a 4 star hotel. First they take your passport, and you will receive it back only when you leave. I hate when they do that. Everything in the hotel looks old and not really clean. Breakfast is "nothing to write home about". You will hear everything from the other rooms.... More
