I've been staying in this hotel and surrounding area in last 17 years both business and family trips, and it is a great place and value for money, the room are very clean and staffs are very very helpful. This hotel has an excellent location and one thing you should not miss is the Vietnamese food dinner at the restaurant.... More

We stayed here on and off for about a month, while we toured around Vietnam. The staff were always very professional and smiling! Even at 3am they were happy to help bring our baggage out. Having a range of restuarants and shops on Dong Khoi street was a bonus as well. Very good stay thanks!!

We stayed there for one week. The rooms are out-dated but still okay. A/C available of course. The floor outside was sometimes a little bit noisy. The staff are friendly and the drinks and cakes in the restaurant are very delicious. Good value for money guys!

Great midrange hotel , some double rooms alittle tight with space but a five star Buffett breakfast available and exceptional customer service. Central location in city. Do not stay at this hotel if you are looking for a window view as most rooms look into building walls next door. The internet is free, fast and reliable . Hair dryers need... More

Last January 2014 I stayed in the Bong Sen on the 1st floor street side. It appeared newly renovated and was great and I gave it 4 stars. I was coming back to HCMC and we decided to stay in the Bong Sen both times we were in HCMC. The first part of our stay was pleasant enough, we stayed... More

Don't bother with this hotel. The rooms have old carpet and furniture. The bed is comfortable enough but the whole hotel needs a renovation. It is located near all the designer stores and does not feel like Vietnam at all. I would choose another hotel in District 1 closer to the Ben Thang Market for better Vietnamese experience.

Our family of 4 stayed here 4 nights then returned for 1 night before departing the country. The hotel is not luxurious, but the rooms are clean and quiet and the hotel is a clean and comfortable establishment. The strongest selling point is the value and location. The hotel is in the heart of the main shopping street and is... More

Right in the heart of things, easy walk to everywhere. Staff were attentive - we had booked a room with a window but on arrival we were given one without. Asked to be moved and were the next day to an upgraded one, staff were efficient and friendly. Price was right - $55 inc breakfast. Hotel is not "swish" but... More

This is a centrally located hotel in D1, nothing too special or detrimental about it, it just works for people to stay here at a good price (someone else is paying for this, I think it's about $50/night). Very pleasant to sit out on the balcony w a beverage and soak in the street scenes below.

I will begin with what I liked about this hotel. The staff was very good, particularly the bellboys. They ere very helpful and on the ball during our two night stay. The other very good feature was the restaurant. Excellent food all the way around. As for the room, it was small and noise coming in through the walls from... More
