Located in heart of shopping outlets & restaurants along Thu Khoa St, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City. Walking distance to the famous Ban Thanth market & the night market around the market. Just stay here & everything is there within walking distance. Food is easy to get. For Muslim travelers, plenty of restaurants serving halal food & are owned... More

We had a great stay at Kelly Hotel. It's in a great location, and easy to walk to most areas in district 1 such as ben thanh market, pham ngu lao and Bui vien. The war remnants museum and independence palace are also in walking distance from the hotel. Rooms are basic, reasonably sized and the staff are very helpful,... More

This is a reasonably priced hotel. Standard room at USD50/night/pax without window. Superior is at USD 55/night/pax and may have window, deluxe at USD 60/night/pax with window. VIP is USD 70/night/pax with a balcony and window. A few of the deluxe rooms come with the jacuzzi. This would need some time to balance the hot/cold water mixer; ask for standing... More

Our room, entitled a "suite" was a mixed experience. I liked the balcony though there was no place to sit out on it Our room had peeling wall paper, water damage in the ceiling with what appeared to be black mold creeping down the wall beneath it. The crown molding was missing from half the room. Water in the shower... More

Negative: Vietnamese breakfast was more lunch for us so we didn't eat. The room was clean. They did let us check in at 9am which was good. According to locals, the place is good but it seems is a bit run down. They stayed with our passport until we check out later the same day. Positive: They let us check... More

We were in a superior double room with a window. Seriously save yourself the extra money and don't worry about the window, they are super small. The room is also very small but comfortable. The hotel is in a great location right down the road from the markets and lots of nice restaurants nearby. I wouldn't recommend the spa downstairs... More

The hotel is in a good location, however the night staff is not very helpful. We arrived at 11 pm after a delayed flight and they made us wait for more than an hour (after saying they're bringing our passports up to the room in 20 minutes) before we had to go down to collect our passports from check-in. We... More

Positives: - close to Ben Thanh Markets and all District 1 amenities and sights - good reasonable price - free breakfast of reasonable quality, except coffee - free wireless internet (although a bit slow) - in room amenities like kettle, coffee and tea provided - great air conditioning - comfortable bed - good laundry service - quiet rooms to the... The front desk staff where very warming and helpful for bookings and acquiring SIM card, however we realised when we had left that the cleaners had been to our room, even though we put our do not disturb sign on the door and had stolen quite a sum of money from our safe. ..

I am here as I write this. Some of the negative experiences others have had, I have not. The toilet did break down, but the maintenance guy came promptly and fixed it. The shower(s) mechanism is complicated, so it was interesting to manage it. The air-con works fine, which is critical in this climate. Maybe because I was late, but... More
