Stayed here for three nights. Good basic, clean room. Friendly manager and the water/beers they offer from reception are priced well. Helpful all round. Slightly difficult to find but otherwise in a great location.

The hotel offers good price/quality. It is not expensive and the room was ok. Do not expect 5*: the bed sheets were a bit worn but clean, the room is not so big, the breakfast has not so much choice. However, still a good hotel in the tourist area of HCMC, in a quite little alley. Friendly staff and the... More

This hotel was our first stop on our three week honeymoon in Vietnam. Needless to say we were super impressed with what we got for approximately AUD$20. The rooms were great and came with a fridge, A/C and all the other neccessities. The service from the hotel staff was great and they always went out of their way to assist... More

We loved our stay here!! So so so cheap for what you get, rooms with air conditioning and a fan as well as a fridge which really comes in handy! Location is perfect very central in backpacker land but down a side street so much quieter and with no one hassling you. The staff were incredibly helpfula dn friendly, aiding... More

Very comfortable room, GREAT A/C which was welcome in the heat and humidity of HCMC, a bit rough round the edges but meticulously clean. Basic breakfast but staff were outstanding. Very convenient location. All in all, superb value.

This was good - in a slightly gritty part of town, the hotel itself and the staff were great. Three flights of narrow stairs to walk up - not much of a view. But very comfortable and clean, and again good breakfasts. The staff always helpful.

In the madness and motor cycle mayhem of Saigon the Ngoc Linh Hotel is a very pleasant oasis of relative calm and tranquility. This is an extraordinarily well run hotel, Mr Luong (apologies if spelling incorrect) a friendly and most obliging host as are hotel family and staff generally. Located in one of the alley ways of the backpacker district... More

Saigon is a pretty mad city, especially to people who are new to south east asian travel as we were. Our receptionists gave us great advice, great service and always were very helpful and enthusiastic - we even played cards together, and he went across the street just to get me a Saigon beer which they'd run out of themselves.... Definitely stay at the ngoc linh. My friend and I spent a few nights here, it's got a great location, nice rooms and the staff are very nice. The value is great especially as you get a breakfast included. Everything worked well including the wifi. There are a lot of other hotels on the street but not all are of... More

Pros: The location was great. You are within 5 min walk from the central Ben Thanh Market and right around the corner from Bui Vien St which has a lot of food and drink places as well as clubs and shops. The front desk men were nice and spoke English. Breakfast that was included has only 6 options but it... More
