Before booking Ngoc Linh Hotel, we had never stayed at a one-star hotel, and so we had no idea what to expect. We chose the hotel based on Trip Advisor reviews, which seemed too good to be true. Despite being exceptionally inexpensive, visitors had nothing but good things to say for the most part (there are always a few nay... More

We intended to stay there for two nights. We got a charming room, had good breakfast with coffee as much as you want. Also the hotel is perfect located next to the bar mile but usually very silent. Our plan changed and we extended one night. Actually the room was smaller but also seemed to be OK. When we went... More

Our room was tiny, and didn't have a window, but this did make it very quiet so we slept well. So well in fact that we almost missed out tour we had booked! Luckily the reception phoned our room to wake us and had a takeaway breakfast waiting for us as we ran out of the door! We booked our... More

The hotel is a bit tricky to find, being located in a small alley off a main street, right in the middle of the backpackers area. An advantage the location is that it is not so noisy during the nights. The Ngoc Linh provides everything you can expect from a budget hotel. The rooms are clean and breakfast is basic... More

Stayed here in October 2014. The hotel is pretty good for the value and would recommend it if you are looking for something on a budget. Location - Perfect. right in the heart of all of the action in Saigon and near loads of restaurants, bars and walking distance to pretty much every sight. Also, it is right near the... More

We loved it here, as the title says the hostel is situated in the heart of backpackers land HCMC. A stones throw away from a beautiful park and a vibrant night market. Lang is the name of the guy who was on reception for most if our stay and he is a superb chap! Helpful, informative, efficient and good humoured.... More

Right in the middle of the backpackers district, you will need to walk the last few metres - although the friendly staff even came out to meet us. The rooms are simple but clean. Breakfast was fine, generally while in Vietnam you should try the soups. Price was of course reasonable. In summary as the previous review stated it "does... More

I stayed here for 3 nights, which was great! Perfect location close to where everything happens, but very quiet as it's in an alley. The staff is very, very friendly and helpfull! My backpack was delayed for 2 days and they did everything to help me, phoned the airport every day, gave me some flip flops etc.

We stayed in the family room which consisted of 1x double bed and 1x single bed. Room was clean and basic. We paid $32 AUS per night and that included breakfast which consisted off omelette (of your choice) fresh bread long roll, fruit, tea ,Coffee & juice. Simple and cheap hotel with friendly guys on reception. $15,000 VND for a... More
